 Now show me the eye picture or it did not happen. Good stuff right there. Complete L neck dissection? And what is with the IV tubing full of blood? Or is that a JP drain? Glad that you're doing well post-op. With such a large surgical field, first and foremost be on the lookout for any s/s of infection, even low-grade temps. Also, don't blow off difficulty swallowing. Some inflammation is to be expected, but if you really start having issues, call your doc. I doubt you'll have to worry about any of this, just passing along little caveats I picked up from my surgery and later on from work. Looking forward to more positive posts! Also, I posted from my recovery bed immediately after surgery. Pussy.  _ First thing i thought; were they playing Beethoven?  |

Wifne and I just cracked open the 2nd bottle wine in celebration of a successful surgery. So far so good. Pretty numb but if I am cancer free I can live with it. |
