Most people know who they're voting for before they even know who the candidate is or anything about them. This works for both sides. You don't agree? Sure But if libs continue to stomp their feet like 3 year olds just because they didn't get their way in November, then there will be plenty of moderate democrats who will cross the aisle and vote for Trump in 2020. Especially if the best the democrats have to offer is Joe Biden, Eric Holder, Andrew Cuomo, etc. Hell, I wouldn't put it past them to roll out Hillary's decrepit ass again.

And the best the republicans had to offer was a guy doing reality tv earlier that year with flavor flav and gary busey. It's a joke for both sides. I'll worry about 2020 when that time comes around. I'm focused on trying to survive this term.

A bunch of citizens from the State of Georgia saw through the bullshit that the left was peddling. I don't live in Georgia but I'm guessing this victory vastly improves the lives of ... you know....citizens of the State of Georgia. I'm not sure if you understand how, for instance, a State election in Georgia isn't meant to have an effect on, for instance, me...a citizen of NJ. But good try. _ It does?!??!? Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, big improvements for everyone in that state. Just like whenever someone gets elected - democrat or republican. Most of you guys won't even remember or care about this win in a couple days. But enjoy the victory for today. I'm sure we'll have something new to debate in a few hours. Actually I think the point had less to do with how it may or may not have helped anyone in that state but more to do with the citizens of that state repudiating an attempt by the left to peddle their bullshit to shift the state back towards blue and repudiate Trump. The Dems failed miserably. That was the point, not that whoever actually got elected will make any difference. That was your error in not understanding what this thread was about. _

Nothing more, nothing less.

A bunch of hicks voted red. I'm shocked. This georgia victory should improve all of your lives vastly. Congratulations to everyone. Calling folks from the northern suburbs of Atlanta hicks sounds like liberal elitism tbh, and the same sort of hubris that caused the Dems to lose in November. What people are laughing about is that the Dems outspent the Republicans by a margin of 7-1, $22/23 million to $3 million and lost. Ossoff got something like 9 times more donations from California than from Georgia - so obviously a whole lot of people felt a D win would improve their lives vastly. Too bad they wasted their money.
