A lot of the Obamacare policies have such high deductibles the people would be better off without insurance unless something catastrophic happened. Sadly they are no longer allowed to buy a catastrophic policy that would be cheaper. But hey they get their $10 birth control for "Free". Actually it is for those high monthly premiums but who wouldn't want to pay hundreds to save $10? Right? Then add in all of the people who DID lose their insurance AND doctors because of Obamacare. Dems don't care about those people though. Finally add in that they will have access to insurance, hopefully at a lower price due to market pressure and it might actually cover them. If the grocery store down the street closes it doesn't mean families will starve it just means that we will have to go to a different store. That is how the MARKET works. Yes when the government tries to run everything and fails then people have no choices and lose out. If the market can take over then people will be fine but we need to get the government out of the way. Speaking of starving because the government can no longer provide food to everyone how are things going in Venezuela and to a lesser extent Cuba? |
