I like what I'm seeing. Hope it passes unscathed. The deductions afforded to homeowners have never made sense: it's unfair to renters a handout to the haves, and generally speaking bad for the country. Will be glad to see that go.

Its crazy the perception that is being spread by the fake news media and what is actually in the bill. If I didnt know just how sinister these cunts were I would say they are just void of common sense.
I heard that Reagan's tax cuts had below a 20% approval and we all know how that turned out. When people end up with more of their money they will understand its a win.
And if you have a problem with the state deduction then take it up with your governor. These coastal liberal states have been abusing the tax payers for years and they still have massive debt. We have a spending problem. They could confiscate everyone's money and still not have enough.

You have the same ability as I in owning V.S. renting. So go buy something you socialist asshat. You did not have to scrap and save to buy your first place and then do all the fucking work to improve your position on it as you paid it off either? Just write a check and it is done. Seems fair to all of us who have broke our ass making it happen.

And before you go ranting about property tax deductions encouraging home ownership and that being a good thing...it's not the governments job to be in the business of social engineering. You want to buy a house? Fine, buy one. But don't expect to deserve government subsidy.

It does encourage home ownership as well as maintenance and upkeep. Which translates into millions of jobs and billions of dollars spent by home owners so we more that make up for the fucking subsidy you mention. Slapdick

Or continue to live in a tenament and expect your overlord to keep up your slum lifestyle. _

Slapdick I don't see why the federal government should subsidize out of control salaries, pensions, benefits and other goodies from states that are fiscally reckless. I was talking with my wife about what this will do to the high end real estate market and how can we make money off of it. I don't know enough about the tax bill and what if any exemptions are in it to make an informed decision. This is definately gonna fuck people in Nassau and Suffolk county. I mean if your taxes are 30k and now you can only write off 10 that's gonna leave a mark. I mean you are pulling a sizable chunk of disposable income out of a lot of communities.

You think your government handout should continue because fuck you? Spoken like every other libtard welfare queen sucking on the government teat. By the way, I've been a homeowner for over 20 years. Only difference is that I'm man enough and responsible enough I don't think someone else should pay for it. It's my obligation, not the government's.

Those people are still gonna make their mortgage payments but they won't be the only ones feeling the pain.
