I am not sure what this means. There is no such thing as gun control. There are justt laws that violate freedoms. That's a nice bumper stick phrase. You could say that about anything: "There is no such thing as crime control. There are just laws that violate freedoms." "There is no such thing as rent control. There are just laws that violate freedoms." "There is no such thing as illegal immigration control. There are just laws that violate freedoms." "There is no such thing as gun safety. There are just guns not being shot at me right now." If you are in your house and someone intrudes, so you want the government making it harder for the intruder to get access to guns and ammunition? How many rounds is it ok for a home intruder to have? As many as it takes? Not quite. See, e.g. news.stanford.edu/news/2014/november/donohue-guns-study-111414.htmlFirst of all, why would anybody want to attempt a mass shooting at a police station? I'm not even sure you could. These days many police stations limit access to the public through a small window of bulletproof glass. You couldn't even see more than one person to fire a shot at. Second, what gun store has enough people to even have a mass shooting? There are certainly shootings and theft at gun stores. See, e.g. www.star-telegram.com/news/local/article4482199.html Third, are you really suggesting that armed robberies don't occur at banks? Really? I'm confused. Are you suggesting mass shootings are the product of people not knowing how to shoot a gun or that guns kill people? If so, I'm confident that the mere existence of a mass shooting negates that premise.

cr, define large magazines and weapons created for military. Exactly. Depending on your skill, one bullet may be enough. Depending on your skill and the number of intruders, 50 May not be enough. It is all arbitrary. Law enforcement should not have anything the civilians don't have. Why didn't hitler take that little country Switzerland. Look it up.

Take away the second, you can forget the first.

What about the part that says 'a well regulated militia'? I don't know any gun owners that are part of a militia. And perhaps ironically, the govt won't let you form a militia. What is the real meaning, the true intent, of the Second Amendment?

Every man who resides in Oregon, 18 to 50 is part of the state militia, most all states have similar laws.

People dumb enough to rob a gun store. Shop owner killed probably because they got the drop on him. 3 of the 4 robbers shot and the female owner is not physically hurt. So in the perfect liberal world there wouldn't be a gun shop and these thugs would have robbed someplace with no guns, probably killed both the shop keepers and gotten away unscathed.

Not quite the same as a murderer going into a gun free zone and slaughtering people because they can't defend themselves. This was a robbery where if not armed, both owners would be dead. Instead, 2 suspects are in critical condition. I don't remember any mass shooting being about a robbery. And if if you want to take all guns away, look up the mass killing in China by a guy with a knife. Killed like 30 kids. Take resposibilty for for yourself as an American and defend yourself. That is a god given right. Don't depend on someone else to take care of one of your primary duties to defend you no your loved ones. If if you don't like guns, just put a gun free sign in your front yard. I am sure that will work, and you don't need a gun anyway, the police are just 3 or 4 minutes away.

Now to get back on topic, anyone carry a P938? I am thinking about grabbing one for an everyday carry. Pros/cons? It only has 6+1, but seems to fit in my hands well, and I is a sit so it should be reliable.

If you don't like or are scared of guns, don't buy one. I don't want you to, all I am asking is you don't try to force me to not have one. Chances are, if you end up in one of those shitty situatuions, someone might have agin to help you unless your try to ban them, then only the criminal will have one.

Now you are moving the goal posts on your own argument.
