I’ll be honest, I’m really up,long for Boston to beat the leafs. Many others are like ‘no, want to face leafs on ECFs!’. Fuck that I say. Better story in isles advancing and leafs going home. Plus, haven’t even started second round yet,
Only thing I’m left rooting for in first ro7nd is Boston victory,

possibly a nine day layoff for the isles. great for rest and healing. not worried about losing mojo because they weren't riding a high to win the series, they just stuck to their fucking game plan and methodically disassembled a really good team

I think they wait until all games are done, and now that Caps-Canes play Weds, thinking round 2 starts Friday & Sat? I dont think they'd have CBJ vs TOR/BOS start Thursday, although that would give TOR/BOS a day off in between tonight and round 2?

Just checked, when Boston and Toronto went to game 7 on a Wednesday last year, and Boston won, Boston vs Tampa wound up being played that Saturday. So if that same logic follows, we'd play Saturday vs either Wash or Carolina, whoever wins Wednesday night.
The other second round game 1s were Thurs and Fri.
If I had to guess, we may see Dallas vs St Louis on Thursday night, Col vs Vegas/San Jose and Columbus vs Tor/Bos on Friday (or one Friday and one Sat), and then Isles vs Was/Car on Saturday.
But I could be totally wrong.
