I started to question him as a GM during the draft when it seemed like a lot of his picks were reaches --- McDougle in the 3rd, Saunders in the 4th, etc. Was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Then we lost 3 CBs in the preseason and he did nothing to try to find an experienced replacement. Thats what did it for me. Very happy to have Mac on board. McDougle is looking healthy by the way...assuming we keep him could be at least one redeeming pick from that draft instagram.com/dex_25

Taking a Saftey instead of a WR in the first round. Knew he was a moron after that and not moving up, trading a few of the 12 picks to get a top WR even after the dumb Pryor pick. God, he was a first class moron. That was about the point I realize this guy had no clue. 12 pick could have traded up for Beckham JR or grabbed Cooks, then got a 2ND one later on like Moncrief or Matthews. Waiting to round 4 to address WR really sealed it for me.

Keeping and using all 12 picks in the draft. There is no way you are fitting them all onto an NFL roster. It was unavoidable to cut a chunk of them before you knew if they had any talent. There is no way that there was no opportunity at all to combine picks to move up.

For me it was when he decided to hold onto all 12 draft picks instead of maneuvering around in the draft to get specific players they were targeting. Especially in round 3-5 where it's a lot cheaper to maneuver around. It made no sense.

Guy had 20 picks over two years, 16 of which were tradeable.......and not one move.

Does anyone know if Izdick has even provided a comment since he was fired? Here's a guy who tried his best to sandbag Rex. Oh, the irony. Rex had a new HC job in no time. Meanwhile, Izdick is off ..... who knows where?

I still think we could have taken an impact WR in the 3rd and still taken McD with one of our 4th round picks. I am still hopeful that guys like McDougle, Evans and Dozier will be players some day.

That first year though he didn't have many options in free agency since we were up against the cap. He drafted Richardson and Millner who I don't like, but he showed some promise at the end of his rookie year. Also at the time I couldn't hate on him for taking Geno in round two.

I started getting very worried nearing the end of day 2 of Free Agency. Wasn't sure, hoped he had some kind of master plans for the draft and shit then.... fuckin crickets and head scratching shit. That fucking asshole

I had serious doubts about Milliner due to his health issues; I thought it was crazy to pick someone so injury prone so high. But then it seemed like maybe he redeemed himself at the end of the season, and there was Sheldon (who by all accounts seems was a totally Rex induced pick - his one hit). Then the reaches this year, but not packaging any lower picks to move up for a better WR was very troubling, still was willing to wait it out, and as the season dragged on it became obvious.
