I'm sure Lee will do much better with whatever QB the Bills wind up with. It's always hard to know where the responsibility lies, but I think Lee is probably at least partly to blame for Geno's stinkiness. Link: lee

Lee sucks
I'll never understand why some were calling him a "QB guru" when he's been responsible for the development of QB's like Chad Henne, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Geno.

We will see, but sometimes the talent just isn't there and it's not the coaches fault, only time will tell

lol. good to see that the guy particularly responsible for the development of the QB is blaming his play on the downfall of the team. wait till he sees what he's got in EJ Manuel. he's gonna want to off himself.

This is coming from a guy that has accomplished nothing as a QB coach of the jets. A lot of people give him credit for making Chad Pennington great in Miami but it was actually chads brain and moxy that established his success. Good luck in buffalo bud.

Funniest quote is "Rex and I talked about it."

Funniest quote is "Rex and I talked about it." No the funniest quote is ^ a Pats fan posting relentlessly on a Jets board (and not haha funny)

I can't wait til the day I never see Geno throw a ball in green and white, but what a total douche bag throwing him under the bus like that. I can't wait til he blows asshole in Buffalo. Hitch your wagon to Rex...that'll get you recognized as a powerhouse offensive mind.
My favorite tidbit:
"The last five games this season he was the seventh-rated passer in the league. He had a perfect passer rating in his last game at Miami. The potential and ability is there.”
Ummm isn't that your job to harness that potential dickbag!?

Funny thing is pretty much everyone here applauded Lee's hiring after saying the same things about Cavanaugh
Once again pointing out that we have no clue what a QB coach does and how much influence he has on a player.

Link: leemaybe so but geno showed very little. he was very inconsistent and continued to make really bad mistakes. imo he personally cost the jets 3 games. his lack of development maybe points to a lack of maturity. it seems that the maturity of the qb coming out college just isn't there and it takes time to finally understand the game and what's expected. and maybe lee was a bit resentful of having to prepare a qb who was chosen to start by idzik. there's a whole lot of ways this can be looked at.

Listen whether or not Geno was the biggest problem (most already think he was) what an absolutely classless cover your ass thing for Lee to say.

Funniest quote is "Rex and I talked about it." And after five minutes of Lee talking, Rex finally stopped him and said, "oh, the offense? Is that what we're discussing?"
