Some equipment manager chimed in somewhere else and said it is absolutely possible to do that in 90 seconds, more than enough time. Probably takes between 1 and 2 seconds per ball, 2 seconds being too much. The needle has a gauge so you could get it exactly to the illegal level you want, all of them in less than 60 seconds easily, at a comfortable un-rushed pace.

I can't imagine that it would be hard to make a device with a pin and a valve that stops at a certain PSI.

I can't imagine that it would be hard to make a device with a pin and a valve that stops at a certain PSI. These exist also as precision instruments. During two of my recent experiments, I used a recirculating high purity gas system. Officially this made my system a "pressure vessel" that then required an overpressure relief valve. I bought an adjustable one from Swagelok that could be preset anywhere from 5-20 psi. It is about 2" long and could be easily fitted to a football needle. Lube, insert, and two seconds later move onto the next hole. Does that sound like "The P@triots Way" or what?

LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO SAY NOW!!!! How many fucking times are they gonna change this ridiculous story?! Get these liars the fuck OUTTA HERE!! From one of their local radio people... But, as I understand it the league was put on notice prior to the game of the Colts suspicion that the Pats use under-inflated balls and the League Office notified the Refs to be on the look for it. I would imagine this would mean they were sure to check the balls inflation prior to the game. I think this is why the NFL is taking this so seriously and hired Tedd Wells to investigate. They believe it has been going on for a while and that BB knows he is violating the rules. And the elephant in the room at the NFL offices is not the advantage an under-inflated ball gives to a QB, rather it is the question of its advantage by reason of fumble "avoidance". Think about it, if the question was only did the Pats under-inflate the balls for the Colts game, the Commish could just say they were under-inflated, the balls were in the Pats possession, and they are responsible. He could then slap them with a $25k fine, and note that the fine is low because under NFL rules this is considered a minor infraction. Heck, I think bumping a Ref is like $20k, and not pulling up your socks (or something just as silly) is $5k.

So now they are basically trying to rationalize that they handed in balls that would be illegal, intentionally, in hopes that they wouldn't be weighed by their officials, which makes them, as they put it "league approved deflated balls" LOL
So they fuckin cheated then. Case closed. LMAO.
Ban them all. All of this arrogance abd shit just makes them all worthy of a lifetime ban. Belicheat will NEVER live this down anyways. He's fuckin tarnished worse than Pete Rose, or really anyone I could even think of. Just a total fraud.
