"Sometimes your worst self is your best self." Cant wait. Re-watched the 1st season with my wife who hadn't seen it. A few of Mcconaughey's psycho babbles were too convoluted/long. Still top notch though.

Coming in June and seems as dark as the 1st season So is this like a whole new cast for Season2? Never saw the first one, may need to marathon this.

So glad this is starting up right after Game of Thrones is done for the season....and by the time True Detective is done, we'll be close to the start of football season....so we have months and months of good Sunday night TV watching to come.

You should def put the 1st season on your list. Yeah, this is definitely becoming the new trend. Fargo is doing the same thing. They are able to attract better talent with season to season long commitments...and the money that goes along with it. They don't have to worry about cancelling the show because they cant afford to pay the cast anymore. New season, new cast, I like it.

It always has to be set in the same environnement: in the north, snow, cops and people with funny accents..dunno. True Detective can change radically from going from the Bayou to LA.

I know I have seen the word "series" used in place of "season" at times for BBc shows.

Doesn't seem to corrugate with the anthology concept.
