One slight silver lining - Better to happen at the end of July than the end of August. Oh, and no Haz Ribz jokes?!? You guys are slippin'! The game is not on in Miami dude. It was Jacksonville.... Peebrain.

Our draft is basically a wash already. Williams simply replaces idiot Sheldon and Devon smith is out for a while and will most likely not contribute very much this year after missing all of training camp and more. Wow. This sux. We needed devin smith. He was key to our upgraded we corps. Same old losers.

BEFORE training camps even starts??? hahahahaha Somebody already said it, he was at best going to be our 4th wr this year so saying he's "the key" to our upgraded wr corps is....well .....a streeeeeeetttttccccchhhhh..............the kid hopefully will be a big contributor next year. I too would have rather him not got injured so early in camp since he missed time in the mini camps and also reportedly really needed work on his route running. If he got hurt near the end of camp then he would have got the reps he needed and by the time we spring him on people there would be no tape on him outside of his college "just run past 'em" work. It would have been nice to have him in camp but we didnt "need" him.

Huge loss. He was supposed to be a huge part of our revamped wr corps. Now we are stuck with an incomplete wr corps again. Season over on first day of camp. Should have taken that WV Wr with the first round pick. Jets r idiots. Again. I really hope this is a joke, or else you are not very intelligent.

Considering the fact we took Devon with out 2nd pick and nearly took a wr in the first I think the team was counting on our rookie wr being a pretty significant part of the O. That's all in jeopardy now. Now our wr corps is basically Marshall replacing Percy. Marshall is definitely better but not the gigantic overhaul and upgradr we needed. Hope Devon is a quick learner. But this loss hurts us more than u think. I was hoping he'd b a big playmaker and much needed deep threat. Our O suddenly looks pedeatrian. Once again. Same ol' same ol'.

You are overestimating a rib injury. It hurts like FUCK but it heals quickly. So much damn better than if it was the dreaded head injury or a "mild" ankle sprain... that will last all damn year. He'll be fine gettin the ribs healed up.

Oh. Well I dunno this isn't something too serious. In fact we got a break that's all it was. He can still learn a whole lot and what we need him to do is run past people and catch the ball. He will be prepared to do that by our first game. But I don't think we'll see him til probably week 2 or 3. Sucks about the reps tho. Get some solid routs and catch dbs off guard

HE can probably run routes in 1-2 weeks... non contact route drills I would think.

Even if we had never drafted Smith, the Jets WR corps would have been significantly better than last year. I don't think repulsion realizes the value of adding a legit #1 target to the offense. It takes significant pressure off of Decker, Kerley and Amaro. That alone will improve the offense by a lot. Having Smith catch deep balls by week 1 or 2 will only be gravy.

Fuck, fuck, fuck and barrels of fuck. Only with the fuckin' Jinxed Jetx. Part of me feels karma played a role in this. I don't see how. IF that's the case the Jaguars have much worse karma.

How did we "nearly take a WR in the first"? HUH? It was understood we would have taken amari cooper if he was available when we picked. In addition, it was believed we would have taken the WV wr if williams wasn't still on the board. And, we took Devin with our very next pick. Therefore, I see that as proof we needed another big time WR. Marshall and Decker aren't enough. So, this injury, if it significantly hampers Devin's progress to helping make our O dynamic and our passing game an area of strength on our team, is a huge loss and big set back for our already suspect O.

It was understood. It was believed. Ok sure. Maybe by you. Most mock drafts actually had us taking a pass rusher or other defense. And if you're going to continually reference the Wv wr maybe you should at least learn his name.
