No offense to the eagles... but home game, versus a shitty out of conference team? Zero reason to rush someone back for this one. Our second team could run this one if they wanted to.... Let the boys heal up for MIA You guys crack me up.

Hate that Cumberland has a concussion, but I'm glad Wes Saxton will probably get a look. Even tho I didn't think he had a great camp, I'd rather him over that bum. At least Saxton has some upside.

Are you daft? He's doing exactly what he's supposed to do, regardless of the design of the play; move away from the RB blitz pickup and towards the middle double team. Trouble is Winters was unable to handle Mangold's pass-off or just chose to stand flat-footed instead of pushing him to the outside. Mangold assumed responsibility to spy the LB. No other reason why Winters is so close to Mangold other than poor technique or his inability to move Bair off the spot. You worry about some Jets fans? Dude, you have a lot of nerve. LOL, oh, so Winters couldn't handle Mangold's pass-off? Is that the new spin for the Winters' haters? Winters isn't good enough to have haters.

If they do add Saxton or another TE I hope the corresponding roster move includes releasing Cumberland outright. He is easily the worst starter on this team and has been for years. Completely useless.

LOL, oh, so Winters couldn't handle Mangold's pass-off? Is that the new spin for the Winters' haters? The Winters haters? You're a crazy person. Even if I'm wrong about why he's standing so close to Mangold (please, offer your insight(s)), Fitzpatrick still makes the correct decision to slide away from the blitz pickup of Powell's, which is what you claim to be an incorrect decision (again, please elucidate further as to what you feel is correct). Otherwise, let it go and silently admit you were wrong on this one, it's ok, it's allowed. Breathe in, breathe out. I'm not wrong about anything, I have my opinion, you have yours, but some of you need to prove your own manhood about how "right" they are, how great they are and how extensive their football knowledge is. It's pathetic.
I already offered you insight. Winters gave the same response in his post-game interview. He didn't expect Fitz to be out of the pocket, that was the design of the pass protection on that play, but that won't stop those who just need a scapegoat for burying Winters. Every bad play is Winters' fault, every pass protection breakdown, all Winters. We're playing Suh and the Dolphins this week? Oh fuck, we're screwed because of Winters, nevermind the other 4 guys on the OL, Suh is only going against Winters... LOL
The banter by some fans is downright comical and silly.

Since what you stated was presumably based on that interview, then you're most likely correct and you shouldn't be faulted for believing everything you see on TV. That Winters actually said that is embarrassing; the design of the pass protection on the play has to account for the blitz pre-snap, something that our future HoF center certainly did, presumably correctly. If Winters missed that, then it goes back to what I said, he's incompetent. Since I wasn't there I guess I'll never know, but it's an educated, safe presumption. I suppose Fitzpatrick could have missed the blitz and not ID'd it, but he's nothing if not really smart. Talking about something one knows isn't trying to prove anything, especially "manhood", whilst on the Internet. Making broad statements in an emotional manner, however, is about as feminine as you can get. Just sayin'...

There was NO reason for Fitz to roll to the right. I was watching the game and was clueless as to why he did that. He had a perfect pocket and Powell always picks the right block. That was on Fitz. That being said, Winters still sucks.

I stated what I said before the interview was even posted. I just love how you pretend to know exactly what the play design was to suit your agenda against Winters. Right, screw what Winters say's, he's a moron, you, on your coach, you know exactly what happened. You know the exact play design based on what 'should' of happened, not based on how the play looked from your TV, since that is the only way you can see it.
You know nothing about this player from your couch, just your scapegoated pre-conceived agenda driven notions based on a couple of plays by Winters when he struggled in the past.
Doesn't matter what Winters does, Colon also had a poor game, was responsible for several pressures that forced Fitz into bad throws, but as you say, Fitz is too smart to let that happen. But with Winters replacing Colon, all of a sudden, all of the OL geniuses on this board know exactly how the OL should have executed. I guess when Colon alos

That being said, Winters still sucks. The reason is there is a blitzer against a RB. That said, if Fitz stays there the LB likely gets him as Powell's block was pretty ineffective by the looks of it. Do you happen to know where there's another view of this play? Colon sucks too and needs to lose more weight than my boy Nick. Happy? And a Winters agenda? He's not even a starter, how can there be an agenda against a JAG? You're so fucking unbearable sometimes, you know that?
