I'm of the opinion that if the Jets are to trade up it is to get one of the two stud OL available. Barring that, I'd be fine with the Jets taking Lynch at 20 provided they give him some time to get acclimated to the playbook, pro game, and bolster what was a shaky line blocking for a far savvier (at this point in his nascent career) QB.
The kid definitely has some game, no question. I'm a bit leary of his long frame, but that's just me (I think).
Did I play within the rules? If not, don't get mad, because you're initial post really didn't spell things out too well.

I can't stress how many times i've pointed to this (and other similar qualities) about this dude... Despite beating those other two guys in virtually every meaningful category, you people still are "wary" of drafting the guy with: -the least turnovers -better completion % -better under pressure -better athlete -better arm talent -better decision maker -better size and strength -better improvement during college -better fit for our offense -bigger dick But hey... that internet says he just so raw right now. Well alrighty then (would bold last biggest thing if I wasn't on a phone)

We should all be jacked to see how this plays out. maybe i'm coming off too dickish, and that's not what i want. I just want everyone to weigh in on the stakes here... cause we're playing roulette on thursday night!

I'd be very happy if we were to take Lynch and I don't really care where they have to do it from

I am in for Lynch. If Mac and Bowles feel he's the guy, then pull the trigger and make it happen. We need a franchise QB. As far as I am concerned, the Jets should draft Lynch and tell Fitz to fk-off. Don't be afraid to move up and be aggressive if they believe Lynch is the guy. A big physical QB with a big time arm will look good in green and white throwing to the Jets big physical wide receivers and Forte out of the backfield.

Good god. Draftniks are something. Just for the record, regurgitating a bunch of other people's research doesn't make you a scout either. If Paradis was regurgitating a bunch of people's ideas he wouldn't be banging the table for Lynch. The top posters in our draft forum watch a ton of games / game tape and if you ever followed game day threads you'd realize that.

I don't want to get into a big thing here, but none of you watch film. You watch tv recordings. You aren't scouts. You don't watch all 22 tape. I read the draft forum. You can say all you want, but I've never read anything in there that doesn't come from a paid analysts mouth or pen first. It's a hobby, and there is nothing wrong with that. But the mentality some have as some football elitist knowledge base is beyond tired. I'm not going to call people out, but MANY times I've seen multiple "knowledgable draft posters" fail to identify the proper coverage or blocking scheme in a game thread. Not to say there aren't plenty of knowledgable guys in there. There are. I like most of them. I like Paradis. There are plenty of knowledgable people outside that forum too.

I'm not gonna argue with any of this - cause like you said, let's not make a big thing here. I assume most in the draft forum know they're not scouts, but it's a hobby/passion thing as you said. People get too intimate with their passions sometimes, myself included. I do think you're selling some individuals short however; there are opinions that are new or counter popular draft media... I mean to some degree, we all rely on draft media to tell us who's worth watching, but I've seen worse. Anyway, it's draft week. Time to be positive, and engaged.

I've read he's a bit if a goof and is gonna need to sit a year, I just hate the thought of trading into the top ten for a guy who won't contribute this year. Immature spoiled brat goof with no street smarts. Sign ME up! Sounds like Sanchez part 2. I am DONE with fuckin QBs who aren't smart enough to not shove their own face in their teammate's ass... And then are too busy goofing off like an entitled spoiled milenial instead of learning how better to not be such a fuckin jackass and maybe learn how to improve your damn game. I am really starting to hate QBs TBH. Need to bring back hitting to the QB because fuck these puseys. of course we will be drafting him and i will be made to support him Lynch makes Sanchez look like a Mensa executive.

Regardless of College play it counts For SHIT in the NFL especially QB. On top of that fuck him. THe Jets have zero luck in the draft with QBs. Who was the last Good Qb we drafted Chad fucking pennington? I want O line. Kellen clemens fucking sanchex Geno fucking smith all guys people around here were sucking off in the draft

I am Fully Prepared to Get behind Geno Smith For one solid year and give him all the help he can get. One last chance to see if he can make i. Ive seen Extreme talent from him and unbelievable stupidity. Maybe Im wrong and talent and determination can beat out stupid with the right coach and right supporting cast. Either way I have come to terms with |Geno one more time without being thrown into a fire. A real Chance for him to fucking sink or swim. Not to mention pettys ass on the bench in case. Lynch can fuck off somewhere else. Im not taking shots on anymore dickheads hyped up in college especially this year. just my 2 cents
