After watching part of that video I might try it for hockey season, but I wouldn't rely on that for Jets games. I'll probably pony up the $300 for the ticket so I'm guaranteed to watch my Jets every week in full HD without any hiccups. Correct me if I'm wrong but does this device only bring you sketchy illegal feeds directly too your TV? Is it the same as using your PC, visiting these sites, and just hooking up an HDMI cable? The live sports streaming won't be in HD for the most part. Some are HD, but most live games are not, but at least you're watching them and it's very reliable. All the games will be on there. It only pulls what's being streamed so quality can vary. It's better than nothing if you don't have any other options or don't want to pay. The movies and TV shows are all HD. It's basically like netflix. It is basically like visiting the sites on your computer, but there are no ads and pop ups. It's all very organized. I appreciate the detailed response and I'll give it a try for hockey, can't do it for the NFL.

It's the reason i don't cancel my cable and just use the fire stick. Forget the sports, for the movies and tv shows alone, it's worth it.

Do you have to type in URL's on the remote? And is this meant as a workaround to avoid a cable subscription

You click the movie or game you want to watch, and it pulls everything and plays it for you. It's not like using a computer where you need to type in and know websites. It's more like using something like netflix than a computer. It does everything for you. You do need a good wifi signal though.

How does it work for sports sites like ESPN, FS1, BTN? Can you get HD feeds on college football games?

How does it work for sports sites like ESPN, FS1, BTN? Can you get HD feeds on college football games? It's got everything. Live games most likely won't be in HD. Channels like espn or fs1 probably will be in HD, but not always. Channels like hbo or comedy central probably will be in HD, but not always. If you stream specific movies or tv shows, and they have everything, will most likely be in HD unless it's something that just came out in the theaters. It can only stream what's available.

Yeah, it does everything for you. It knows the streaming sites and pulls everything for you, but without the annoying pop ups or ads like if you were using a computer.
