If we can't land a Glennon or a Tyrod or a Hoyer, or pull off a cheap trade for a guy like McCarron, then bringing Geno back on a prove-it deal could be the best way to go. Agreed...I would look at Glennon/Tyrod first and if we can't land either one of them I'd bring back Geno on a short deal.... As horrible a QB as Geno is he's a better option right now then Petty or Hackenburg Draft Fournette at 6, sign Andrew Whitworth on a short deal and just become a pound and ground team with Fournette/Powell/Forte

lol this is getting comical. I'm actually fine with it. They're bumping casual fans expectations so low that when he finally does get on the field, everyone will be calling him the next Tom Brady.
Just sit back & wait. Media in NY sucks so bad because they have to create or reach for shit to write about.

I can't stomach NY media anymore, this shit is just beyond a joke and a blatant attempt by this punk to sabotage his career before it's even started. The media are petrified that any QB prospect we have could turn the fortunes of this franchise around, their popularity depends on negative press.

I don't know how Manish is allowed in the building. At what point will the Jets have enough of his vile?
And the DN is even more responsible for this crap spewimg from that pos. They are obviously encouragong the shit he's writing. What do they have to lose? How can you disprove the words of an unnamed source?

Strip away the man-ure (get it) and there's a lot of truth in there. Maybe not about what players are saying, but Mac is at some point going to have to atone for these picks. Whether they develop or not will obvious have a immense bearing on that... I think this sums it up: Jesus I hope he does a '180 of all '180s.... but have we've heard/seen/told anything to suggest there's hope?....

You know this is Macc's own fucking fault. Why take Hack?? Why in the 2nd?? why do something so risky and polarizing?
Stupid slash arrogant if you ask me.

His employer encourages his behaviour because he successfully brings attention to them. Have you ever seen him in the locker room when he stands next to a player and pretends to look at the other side of the locker room so he's on camera with them? He's such a sad little prick.

But man alive, you piling on Hack is getting fucking old. He's a fucking Jet. How about we see him fucking play before we decide there is no hope. Or that Mac has some "serious explaining to do" by picking him, and please stop sucking Manish's 3" dick wby posting his shit. You're too good of a poster. Now go find us a TE and leave Hack the fuck alone.

Hack is a Jet.. and i'm completely at peace with making the best of it. Unlike some pieces of shit who couldn't wait to run Geno out of town, I hope for the best. Always. This is completely 100% about Macc (and his team). I want to believe he's capable of better. But his picks keep staring at me in the face.

No GM is going to hit on every pick , right now I say he's doing better then the last 2 GMs

No GM is going to hit on every pick , right now I say he's doing better then the last 2 GMs I'd like to agree but I have significant concerns. Macc did well in the offseason leading up to his his first season (prior to 2015 season). Bringing back Revis, bringing in Fitz to compete with Geno, making a value pick with Leo Williams instead of reaching for a need, etc. It was good. But let's also remember that he had a lot of salary cap to work with and a very high draft pick. However, two years later and he still has no QB, there's concern that he's wasted two picks on guys who may only become backups at best. He let Snacks Harrison leave (yes, money was a factor), now has underperforming guys in Revis, Richardson, a regressing Mauldin, a Wilkerson who is either hurt or counting his millions between downs and a coaching staff that's being gutted just below the neck after only its second season. After two seasons of rebuilding the Jets look like they need to be completely rebuilt again.....offensive line, the secondary, going from thinking we had 4 QBs to potentially having no QBs. I'm having a very hard time finding significant positives. I do like Leo Williams, I like Darron Lee....but Mauldin, Petty, Hackenberg, Devin Smith? Someone could make a reasonable case that after two years Macc is mostly failing at both drafting and free agency. And remember, these comments are coming from someone who is typically an optimist.

He's wasted two years and millions in cap hits, some of which will be hitting next years cap to tie his hopes on Ryan Fitzpatrick. Ryan fucking Fitzpatrick!! Two years later, an argument can be made that we are in even worse shape and he's the guy calling all of the shots next year. No QB, No pass rusher, No Oline, No linebackers, No secondary, No TE, and an aging RB corps with Powell and Forte. What exactly has this guy done that should make Jets fans comfortable and trusting in his decisions.

I see your point Fitz after breaking a bunch of jets records last year Mac had no chance but to bring him back unfortunately it didn't work out this time , right now we have 2 young guys. Let's see how they address it in the offseason and then judge Devin smith got hurt his first training camp then was starting to find a role last year and blew out his knee .even before that he was getting open but fitz couldn't him the ball . This year after coming back and playing in 3 or 4 games Bowles wasn't going to take time away from Anderson, Marshall and peake Mauldin after starting off slow started to play better then got hurt never to be seen again this year . Year 3 is going to be big for him and Devin Smith if they don't start showing something might find themselves on the outside looking in Snacks is playing well for the Giants but no way would I give him 10 mil a year when he was only playing 45% of the snaps wasn't much fall off with our run defense even with losing starting NT in McClendon for 6 games Everyone liked the Revis signing when it happened and nobody could've seen his drop in play media and experts on twitter would have u believe he was worst CB in league but truth is he was ranked 24th corner last 10 games After starting in the 70s . Mac was smart the way he structured his contracts They have done pretty good job of drafting later rounds and UDFA all these guys are contributing and some have shown real promise QB Bryce Petty (Rd. 4) CB Juston Burris (Rd. 4) RT Brandon Shell (Rd. 5) DT Deon Simon (Rd. 7) P Lac Edwards (Rd. 7) WR Charone Peake (Rd. 7) WR Jalin Marshall (UDFA) WR Robby Anderson (UDFA) S Doug Middleton (UDFA) DE Lawrence Thomas (UDFA)
