It appears that the Bills are going to let Taylor go (why, I have no idea). What's your opinion on the Jets taking a shot at Taylor? What do you think he will command as far as a contract? What are you willing to pay him?

I'd absolutely bring Taylor in if the price is right. I'm terrible at predicting what contracts will or should be, but if we can get him for basically 2 years at starter money and 1 year at backup money then wash our hands clean, then sign me up.
I think he meshes real well with the skills we have with our young receivers. Add in Dalvin Cook and that's speed everywhere on offense.

I wouldn't be in favor of it because the Bills were constantly resorting to silly bullshit to make it work with him at QB.
He can make some plays with his feet and throw a nice deep ball, but I'm not making that kind of commitment to a guy like Taylor. You're talking probably at least $16 million per over the next 2-3 years at least.
I'd rather sink or swim with Hackenberg.
And if we're terrible...next years QB class is potentially stellar.

He is better than anything we currently have on the roster. But you have to keep in mind that he had equal or better OL, RB, WR and TEs than we did in Buffalo.
BTW Trubisky just declared. Another one for us to put in the meat grinder.

The terrible situation the Jets are in I would take him in a heartbeat. The Jets have no solution at QB Petty looked horrible HackenBerg not starting the final game says one thing the Jets have no immediate solution. This year's crop of QBs in the draft are terrible. Trubisky who isn't a top 10 QB but probably the best prospect in this class won't get past San Francisco. The Jets only other option is Jay Cutler or resign Fitzpatrick or Geno.

Fuck mediocrity. Either we find Gold, or suck really really bad. 8-8 is cancerous to a team.

Matt McGloin in 2017.
That's not what I want. Just what I expect to end up with.

Like some others have said, what's the point? So we can win a few more games and be stuck in perpetual suckitude. Go with Hack and Petty and we either sink or swim, no more band aids and 6-8 win seasons. I'd rather go 0-16 next year, finally land the QB we've never had than win 6 games with Tyrod Taylor.
