He's the only QB I care about pursuing
Tyrod hasn't even proven that he's capable of running a traditional NFL offense.

I'd be fine with Glennon at 2-3 years at Fitz-type price while we figure out if Petty or Hack are the future.
Upwards of $10M is the going rate for semi-competent experienced QBs, crazy as it is.
Give him 3 years, $36 Mill with an easy out after the 1st or 2nd year.

Exactly At least the kid has shown plenty of potential in the past, is 6'6 230 with a rifle for an arm and is capable of running an NFL offense. Also just turned 27 so he's just now entering his prime years. I have zero interest in signing a guy like Tyrod and then we're forced to run a bunch of smoke and mirrors bullshit on offense throughout his tenure here.

Glennon looked OK his first 2 years, and could be a good starter with a suitable supporting cast. He's not going to become Aaron Rodgers, but with some luck he could reach the sort of Joe Flacco level - good enough to win with, if everything else is in place.

Cimini actually has no sources and even says "The Jets figure to be one of Glennon's suitors."
NY beat reporters are the worst.

News flash: the NYJ are interested in any two-armed QBs and perhaps even some one-armed QBs.

I will repeat myself yet again. FUCK 2017 and Glennon is not and will never be an NFL Qb. We need to grab a RB at 6 and then shore up our weak areas through FA and the draft. Then roll with Hack and Petty in 2017. The 2018 draft is a much better QB draft. No more of this 6-10, 7-9, 9-7 bullshit. Take our lumps and grab a good 1st rd Qb next year.

That's not going to happen, though. I think Lith made the point earlier and I agree completely. Macc isn't just going to go into next year with Hack and Petty when his job could very well be on the line. The Jets ARE going to bring in a QB. And I'd rather it be Glennon instead of Taylor, Cutler, Kaepernick, etc.

Overpaying,{which is what we'd have to do}, on a QB with no mobility, who crumbles under pressure would be a huge mistake. There's a reason Tampa drafted Winston.

Glennon is the definition of SAME OLD JETS...
Couldnt land a REAL winner like Winston, better settle for clipboard Glennon and another fucking 3 years of less-than-average offensive output.
Fuck overpaying someone just to get by. Time to STOP screwing around and suck on a level that NECESSITATES change and drafting a real winner.
Hackenberg and co. next year. Deal with it I say.

Personally I dont get the love for Glennon...I see an inaccurate, choker who holds the ball too long....kind of like the old QB we just got rid of. If they sign him I'm going to need to come up with a new hashtag
#FUCKFITZ

We need to suck to move high enough to be in the franchise Qb range. If this years playoffs do not prove you need a Qb nothing will. Look at the last 4 teams standing and who they have calling the shots for Gods sake man. Mac and Bowles need to sit Woody down with a fucking plan to get through 2017 with a coach/GM mulligan with an eye toward 2018.
