More positive Hack news...
Apparently he hasn't missed a single throw yet in OTAs.
This may change when OTAs start.

Hackenberg is clearly more flexible. No one ever brings that up though.

Prototypical flexibility. _ McCown can't even touch his heel, and we gave him 6 million Look at his arm extension, or lack thereof. Bet he can't complete a 10 yard out. _

They must really like that flexibility that Hawkeye pointed out. If this is air cover for them letting take more and more reps this summer, great.

Famed Jets hater Michael Lombardi (whose son is now on the Jets staff) is reporting some positive stuff about Hackenberg (hey, it's slow around here at this time of year): What is he reporting? Is he showing more accuracy and better footwork in the offseason? What this based on? The Jets haven't had a practice since last December. Is this more pablum about how Hack says he feels he's improving? Has more confidence? Whilst wearing shirts and shells? Honestly, what the fuck had happened since last year where he never took one fucking snap until now that is "positive"? I may be a dick but I'm not an idiot. There is NOTHING that has transpired in the past week or month or 4 months that could be deemed as truly positive with respect to Hacks ability to play competently as an NFL QB. _ Players go through off-season programs, Hackenberg did as well: jetswire.usatoday.com/2017/05/18/report-jets-christian-hackenberg-spent-offseason-working-with-nfl-qbs-brother/A player with Hack's tools, taking in a full NFL season, is far more than any rookie QB would have had coming into the 2017 draft. The question is, what do the QB's taken in the first round have over Hack? The answer is nothing, they all have potential. Jets coaching staff know what they have and the work he has put in, including the way he's handled himself during the off-season and going into the off-season camp practices. He's obviously showing something, in workouts, from the off-season he had, in meeting rooms, he obviously is showing an improved confidence to go along with the tools. Reading and hearing about coaches, pundits, and anybody else talk positively about him, both with the team and not with the team is a good thing, not the other way around, why fall of the chair about it? It would only make sense that the Jets stumble to find their "new hope" at the QB position, instead of drafting high with a lot of hype, and probably, it's better this way. So here is to hoping.

Hearing good stuff in OTAs means almost nothing. Just a time to start getting some work in.

Hearing good stuff in OTAs means almost nothing. Just a time to start getting some work in. Saw a video of a Hack OTA throw wildly behind the receiver in a 1 on 0 drill and someone commented "that's a pick 6 in a real game" and some one else was indignant that the receiver "rounded off his route and didn't come back to the ball blahblablah". Just fucking throw an accurate pass to a dude wearing shorts with no defenders anywhere around you. _
