Not sure if this belongs here or in the other off season thread, but from Rotoworld:
According to the Chicago Tribune, "indications at this point" are that free agent Brian Hoyer will sign with the 49ers. Hoyer is expected to leave Chicago with the Bears zeroed in on Mike Glennon, while the Jets have shown interest in Hoyer but lack the coaching familiarity with him the 49ers can offer. Kyle Shanahan was Hoyer's OC in Cleveland. 31-year-old Hoyer would be a traditional "bridge" quarterback in San Francisco, holding down the fort until the Niners get someone better. With that said, he is an upgrade on 2016 quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert and Colin Kaepernick.
If this is the case, sign Keenum for pennies and let Hack/Petty fight it out. See what you got, and go from there.

I would be ok with bringing Glennon in to compete with Hack and Petty, but at nowhere near this price. What's Glennon's market going to be? Jets, Bears Niners? I don't think any of them give Glennon this type of money. Especially after the Osweiler fiasco.

Decker could be on his way out too. Full blown tear down. Only way to properly build it back up.

Has anyone analyzed his good and bad years? Maybe he alternates and 2017 he's due for another 2015? Not sure what I prefer, sucking all year or getting my hopes up and heart ripped out at the end?

2:45 AM really is prime time for reviewing real estate investments. Clearly Revis was out on business.

Can't be true - I read on here that Revis never hits anyone. No, you're thinking of Hackenberg.

This guy was the QB coach in '05 when Pennington and Fielder went down back to back. Hope he has better luck this time around.

Nah, this was the ol' switcheroo by Shanny. He had a fake gameplan in the backpack, knowing the Cheats would pull some sort of stunt to gain an advantage. Falcons 45 - 10, book it.

Who knew?
"Craig Carton has co-hosted the top rated Boomer & Carton show on WFAN for the past decade. He was previously a member of the Philadelphia Phillies as a back up third basemen but is best known as being tight with now New England coach Bill Belidick while the two worked in Cleveland. (Carton narrowly missed out on being Jets head coach - a position that eventually went to Eric Mangini)."
