Trumaine Johnson to Jets, per Schefty. 15 million per year? Eh...guess we gotta spend it on somebody Does look a little steep, especially compared to Butler getting $12M a year. Oh well...we have the cap space.

RB Isaiah Crowell to Jets, 3 year deal, per Twatter. Do we like this??? I haven't seen a Browns game in years.... Not a bad player. A hard charging guy, also catches the ball well. A superior Chris Ivory type. Should be a good complement to Powell.

His contract was untradeable, given his laziness and lack of production.
A real waste. Had a chance to be a Jets great, got paid, then completely mailed it in.

Donahue had alcohol problems when he was younger. That's why he ended up playing small school ball and was a 25 year old rookie.
If he is off the wagon, that's a worry - both for his health, as well as for his football career.
Hopefully, this is a wake up call and he gets some help before throwing away his promising football career...or killing himself or someone else.

Easy pass on this complete scrub. Yup. Let someone else make the mistake of Glennon-ing this guy. He's a nice backup. But a high price starter? No thanks.

Won his grievance against the Bungles. Will be an UFA.
Adds another QB option. Broncos supposedly interested, which could be good news in the Jets' quest for Cousins.

Ouch. Colts got Winfielded.
Does Mrs McDaniels (assuming there is one) not like Indianapolis?

Cousins.
Philly has no reason to move Foles with Wentz still recovering - unless someone overpays massively in terms of draft picks.
And we shouldn't overpay in terms of draft picks.
Assuming Cousins is a FA and not franchised, he's my preference.

5 people said serviceable backup? for gods sakes. We are eternal optimists.

I'll continue to have hope and root for him while he is a Jet - or until he actually sees the field and proves that he can't play.
He seems like a good guy - patient, loyal, hard-working. I want him to succeed, even though the signs aren't encouraging.

Yup. Marshall out, Dennison probably in to reunite with Bates as OL coach and running game coordinator.
Similar roles to those they had in Denver, except with their levels of seniority flipped.
Dennison is a zone-blocking guy so that may be bad news for Carpenter at LG.

Looks like Bates is the guy. Will be interesting to see who he adds to the staff (Rick Dennison as running game coordinator?)...

Dan Marino too, while we are signing players retrospectively. Young Macc should have camped outside the Jets' facility with a sign demanding that they draft Marino over O'Brien. I can't believe he didn't have the foresight to do this - fire him.
