Saw this on JetNation. I mean we’re due to hit on a qb right? As a Canes fans who hates FSU, our biggest in state rival, and by association Jordan Travis, all I have to say is YES!!!!! This kid is a Winner and there will be many teams who will hate themselves for passing on him. He is smart can read defenses, make all the throws, is very mobile. An another thing that you won’t see on tape, like Brady he hates to lose and his force of will is tremendous. Many may question this pick today, but in two years maybe sooner, he may be the steal of this whole draft. Did you just quote yourself? Seems dum

Just read up on him, he's a great story. Story book stuff. So we have that going for us, which is nice.

Three picks in round 4, #111, #129 and #134 my targets, not necessarily in this order: Christian Mahogany OG, Boston University; Tanor Bortolini C, Wisconsin; Jordan Travis. QB Florida State; Brenden Rice, WR USC (Jerry's son); Jayden Hicks, S Washington State; Mohamad Kamnara Edge; Colorado State; Troy Franklin WR, Oregon; Audrick Estime RB, Notre Dame. Also, Round 6 at #185.......and Evidently, the Jets also have the last pick in the draft "Mr. Irreverent" at #257. My pick, Sam Hartman, QB, Notre Dame. The last time the Jets had the last pick in the draft was 1969 when they selected Fred Zirkel. Zirkle never plyed professional football and became an entrepreneur and investment banker. Despite being an all-star football player while at Duke University he chose to enter the business world and co-founded Key Tronic with his father. In 1991, he resigned as chairman and CEO in the company which reporti$140 million of computer hardware revenue. He then set up a merger and acquisition firm and developed BizQuest.com, the internet’s first search engine serving business owners and investors. Im guessing Mahogany with the next one?

Oof. JFM for a bag of balls. Probably wasnt willing to restructure and we are up against the cap. Hes only 27. Better hope the lightbulb goes on for Kinlaw bc that was probably JD's weakest signing which definitely had a role in this. JD is a dumb bald headed fuck. I hate that asshole. He's gone after this year. Book It. Er...Jetrepulsion?

Interesting. I could see why if they were targeting this guy (Ullbrich coached in the Senior Bowl where Corley played) then they were not so interested in Bowers, over an OT. This guy looks like he plays slot like a mini TE 27 reps of 225. Giddyup

I was hoping that they would play Kuntz late in the season 6'8", fast with good hands. Not much of a blocker though. I can see how Aaron might like him as an option. I'm super happy we didnt blow a first on a TE as we really havent exploited what we already have.

In fairness, I think there was some weird shit going on at Oklahoma and (being a kid) Rattler didnt handle it well before moving on to SC. I didnt see any "headcase" stuff during his tenure there, just what happens when you play behind a so so line in the Div. 1 SEC. He's the only QB that never succeeded under Lincoln Riley despite the Zach Wilson like chances they afforded him. I've seen too much info of his own teammates hating him...not unlike Zach Wilson with the Fucking Mike White shirts 2 years ago. Fair enough. Didnt see that at SC. We'll see. I'm hoping the Jests have done their homework, and I have to trust it whether it proves me right or wrong. Appreciate your feedback as well.

Spencer Rattler out of South Carolina is a mobile, smart kid with a big arm. Not a huge guy, but I enjoyed watching him play. Sopne graduated SC and Daupne is headed there this summer. Dont think he'll last though. (unless we move up again) I'm not a big fan of Rattler....total headcase. I like Jordan Travis who is coming off of an injury after watching the FSU offense completely fall to shit after he got hurt. Maybe Pratt. Love the pick. Especially if we use him like they did in college and not try to make him something he is not. Get him the ball and let him YAC. Wouldnt mind seeing us trade up again for another WR. Get a Safety tomorrow, maybe a LB. I'd still go WR again but I hope we draft a QB and let him sit. There are still some intriguing names left out there. Remaining picks for the Jets: 3rd #72 - Friday 4th #111; #129; and #134 Saturday 5th #157 Does JD package a few of these and attempt to move into a pick in the 2nd or a high 3rd? They’re definitely trading up This isn’t like 3 years ago when the Jets had arguably the shittiest roster in football and these late rounders had a legit chance to stick. Last night Douglas specifically referred to the picks acquired in the Minnesota trade as “ammunition”. Dudes like McConkey, Corley, R. Wilson, Polk, etc are going to start flying off the board and I know Douglas wants one of them. Credit where its due^^^^^^^ Read some mixed stuff on him, but alot of positives. A healthy Rodgers, a bolstered O'line and a new target that I'm guessing Rodgers had to approve beforehand.

Gonna watch Rangers. No interest in the draft spectacle and the newly acquired clownish attire of picks and their families. I'll just catch up later.
Just figured you'd all want to know.
