ehhh.... i think he was exposed on too many levels to get back into top 10. However, showing (once again) that he's a big game baller, will maybe help remind people that it's not all measurables and mechanics. Which i agree with. I do think Watson is a natural born leader who puts the team on his back, every damn week. I just don't think i'd be willing pass on others to hope the rest follows suit. That's a good assessment on Watson. In terms of physical tools, Watson isn't a top ten pick. But his " intangibles" certainly are. He doesn't get rattled, keeps his poise and his entire team has faith in him. Ultimately I think he goes in the second round as I think a team would be willing to take a chance there as opposed to using a top 10 pick. There's not a lot of options this year, so I can't imagine him falling beyond day 2. What's interesting to me is some of the commonalities Watson shares with Prescott. Not physically, but narratively. Although Dak played on a different caliber team and program, they faced similar questions about their game at the pro level. I thought Dak had a tremendous junior year but when I watched him more closely in his senior year, I started picking apart his game, and maybe undervaluing his tenacity and leadership. Some guys just dig deep and find ways to win.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but if Watson plays well in the title game, is he going to enter the conversation at 6? ehhh.... i think he was exposed on too many levels to get back into top 10. Crummy, I had to head over to the mainland and missed all the games today except UF outback win. How were the other ones? Worth avoiding spoilers for and finding online?

to be fair, Dak didn't look this good in his senior year. He's high as shit on frosted flakes or something. I really liked what he did his junior year - but when i took a close look last season he was all over the place with touch and accuracy on anything past 10 yards. He didn't have great pocket presence at times either... Just goes to show, some kids adapt to the game around them. Some don't. Amazing what a good Oline can do for a team. lol you keep beating that drum, good sir.

No comment on the 3 and 3 approach to this game? Did you even watch? Haven't seen your season predictions for a while, how's that "I wanna be Gus Johnson" thing working out for you? Cam Robinson*, OT, Alabama. Height: 6-6. ... Mike McGlinchey*, OT, Notre Dame. Height: 6-7. ... Quenton Nelson*, G, Notre Dame Ryan Ramcyzk*, OT, Wisconsin. Height: 6-6. ... Taylor Moton, G/OT, Western Michigan Ethan Pocic, G/C, LSU Dion Dawkins, OT, Temple. Height: 6-5. ... Roderick Johnson*, OT, Florida State. Height: 6-7. ... Julie'n Davenport, OT, Bucknell. ... David Sharpe*, OT, Florida. ... Forrest Lamp, OT, Western Kentucky Oh, and blow me. McGlinchey is staying in school. Robinson is a probably an RT and should be taken in the 20s. Oh and he has character concerns. Ramcyzk has a pretty bad hip injury and even before that was a bit a project at LT. Probably would take him in the mid-late first depending on his injury. He's a little bit light and can get pushed around. Roderick Johnson is a project pick that we could take but definitely not someone to grab at #6. Lamp is another late round guy. People are screaming OL and I get it. I was them same jackass who actually wanted to draft Marcus McNeil in addition to Brick and Mangold in 2006 (would have actually made our line INSANE in retrospect, and would have been nicer than the Kellen Clemens shit show). But this year there is not a single blue chip LT prospect worthy of a top 10 let alone top 5 selection. That is what Paradis is talking about. Just saying draft OL won't make the blue chip players show up. If McGlinchey was coming out we could have the conversation, and in fact I might want him over the RBs (OL to me are what TEs are to Paradis). If not though I want Fournette/Cook assuming Myles Garrett doesn't fall. thanks bro, i owe you one

You can read lists. And you can type. That's about as much as we can deduce from you copying and pasting this in a post. Someone else wanna chime in, so i don't sound like a complete asshole?

Anybody notice we started this game with 3 guards and 3 tackles and Fitz was still under pressure? Plus Mangold is probably gone, from disgust more than anything. Oline Oline Oline and Oline. then pick up glamour positions in free agency. Ok Gus Johnson, name the prospects.

Early prognosis: CLE -- M. Garret DE SF -- D. Kizer QB CHI -- J. Allen DE JAX -- C. Robinson LA -- Q. Wilson CB NYJ -- ?? I love Q. Wilson, but where is all the hype coming from? I love him, but all the draft sites I read have Tabor and Humphrey as 1/2. Also I think most have Jamaal Adams in the 5-10 range. Anyways, I know you're a Cook fan like me, but I think we go Fournette. I think you'll see Wilson leapfrog Tabor by march. As for humphrey, i don't want to say he's a product of the defense he's on, but there's moments that bother me. A little stiff maybe? WSH's touchdown yesterday was prime example. Nobody's perfect, but gut says overrated.

Is Ryan Clady that guy possibly? I know he's injury prone, but he may be the best candidate for the scenario you and Lith are presenting. If I was Clady I'd retire. He's always injured. If I was the Jets I'd try to sign Riley Rieff. He's 28/29 so he should have a few good years left and not cost too much. Rieff was never a very good Tackle. Decent in the right side and will probably find work there -- but he was a better candidate at Guard I thought. But what do i know At this point, Whitworth is my #1. He's reliable, won't cost a king's ransom -- and gives us 2 years to figure out who the long term option is.
