Or the scene was thru the character being shots view so AB would have been shooting at the camera, which could have had the victim standing close to the camera . Looks like Big L nailed it; Also, apparently the crew had been using the same pistol for off-the-set target practice with live ammo and that the live ammo was kept with the blanks. Mix that with a dumb inexperienced kid with a history of fuck-ups being charged with ensuring its safety, a clueless self-absorbed actor who doesnt have the common sense to double check the gun... and here we are. Haven't heard that but if that is true....oh boy. |

So basically an inexperienced diversity hire got someone killed.
That said, I support the idea I have seen floated on social media. Mandatory NRA firearms training for all movie sets that have guns being used. If we can save just one life it will be worth it.

The girls father is actually an armorer that has worked successfully on other movie sets and has a proven track record of safety. They just decided to hire his libtard daughter at a moments notice. Mandatory NRA firearms training should be a given not only for the film industry but also for our children. Problem is it will never happen even though it has a proven track record of saving lives, especially in a country where there are more firearms than people. I'm also proud to contribute to that stat. |

I absolutely believe that was a part of it because they would never hire a NRA endorsed trainer because of their hatred of everything that is sensible or leans towards the right. Hell, they could have hired me and this wouldn't be in the news.....but they hate my type and now HOPEFULLY they'll suffer some consequences but I highly doubt it. It's amazing how simple and effective firearms training is. If you follow only one of the four main principles something like this would never happen. Let that sink in....you only have to know 25% of the basic principles which can be taught in less than 15 minutes. Yet they want no part of it. It's a mental disorder. |

I think a bigger issue that we're all missing is this; It's a fucking movie. You can make a fucking cap-gun look like an operational firearm with special effects. Add sound, add smoke, add flame. If you want to recreate a semi-auto cycling and ejecting a round, you can do that with a realistic looking prop that wont/cant take a live round ever. Battery operated. This isnt rocket science. Bottom line; These sick fuck libs love to dance with the devil... whilst preaching virtue to the camera about gun control. It's masturbation for them. Change my mind. |
