Just read that production of the movie is halted I’d bet production is permanently stopped and this movie will never be completed. Kinda like that movie where production team also cut every corner and cheaped out and got that girl destroyed by the train on the bridge. |

Ironically, none of this will matter; Libland will embrace Baldwin as a victim and he will take advantage by fashioning himself the new face of anti-gun sentiment. I had EXACTLY this thought the second I heard about this. They will NOT let a "crisis" go to waste and they will absolutely spin him as the poor victim and guns must be banned. (But not for them or their bodyguards of course silly lol) |

Keanu Reeves sucks and I have no idea why these John Wick movies have reignited his stardom all because he’s simply a “nice guy”. But I’ll give him credit for at least actually going to the range and putting forth the effort to learn about proper gun fire and protocol. I think a bigger issue that we're all missing is this; It's a fucking movie. You can make a fucking cap-gun look like an operational firearm with special effects. Add sound, add smoke, add flame. If you want to recreate a semi-auto cycling and ejecting a round, you can do that with a realistic looking prop that wont/cant take a live round ever. Battery operated. This isnt rocket science. Bottom line; These sick fuck libs love to dance with the devil... whilst preaching virtue to the camera about gun control. It's masturbation for them. Change my mind. You are 100% right. That's where this discussion needs to go. With special effects these days, why are they even risking someone fucking up like what heppened. But they wont, and this will happen again. After Brandon Lee, big outcry, Hollywood did nothing. 2021 there's really no reason to need to use a real gun and risk someone leaving a live round in it. |

By all accounts, the whole production was a shit show, cutting corners, unsafe environment, with a dead body as the final straw. Staff walking off the set for safety concerns even before this, and I was reading that one veteran prop-master turned down the job because "one potential issue that stood out to him was that producers combined the positions of assistant prop master and armorer into one job on the film" and he felt that was unsafe without checks and balances. Then you have this: Sounds like the director is a moron, they were probably trying to save money by combining positions and hiring inexperienced people, the ass't director sound like a real dickhead, and the armorer was definitely a nepotism hire. Just because dad (Thell Reed) was pals with Gene Autry and worked in the industry for almost 50 years doesn't mean the daughter knows what she's doing at 24. Although I give Thell credit for being 78 with a 24 yr old daughter.... |
