I made up a great drink... I call it cotton candy. Golden Grain, Grenadine, and Jones cream soda. Shit will put hair on your forehead. Very drinkable. And dangerous. You can get a chick wasted with that shit if you were so inclined for that kind of thing. I kept thinking that the whole time i'm drinking it, you can just keep drinkin it like nothing at all. Just a splash of grenadine for color, cause Jones cream soda is clear, and golden grain... welll... lol You could prank someone with the shit I'm tellin ya Just what I always wanted: a drunk chick with a hairy forehead. LOL, better than hairy pits bro!!

Not generally a fan of the poor quality spirit produced in Canada, but I simply cannot recommend this particular spirit enough. It is, simply put, brilliant. Dark fruity, musty, deep and with a spicy finish when taken neat. Absolutely brilliant when mixed in a cocktail, or, as I prefer, in a Rye & Ginger. For $26 a bottle, one simply cannot go wrong with this bottle. It is a blend (of course), of 91% pure Canadian Rye (actual Rye), 8% American Bourbon (Old Granddad, a high-Rye bourbon) and 1% Sherry. Love it. Just finished this bottle, third session with it. That's unusually fast for me. It was very, very enjoyable. Drank almost exclusively mixed, ginger, lime + rye. Good times.

I killed off a bottle of JWB last night. I should probably kill off a few other half empty bottles of spirits before adding to the liquor cabinet.

I did good today Nice! what brought on the splurge? Ha idk nothing really, poor self control? Went out to buy a bottle of something new, saw these and both were (relatively) cheap and I just couldnt pass them up. Was also debating between a Signatory Laphroaig 17 1997, Balvenie 17 Doublewood and a Springbank 17 Sherry Cask...next time, next time. I'm probably going to wait to open up the 25 until a special occasion.

It doesn't compare to any Islay: no peat, no brine..which would normally turn me off because it's exactly what I look for, but I'm trying to branch out. Definitely worth a shot if it's not too pricy in the US (I was in the states this summer, the prices are rough IMO). Apparently they were going to run out of the malt they used for their signature 10, and came up with this one using scottish barley. Here's a review I can agree with

Bruichladdich is a personal favorite, I currently have four bottles in my 'Laddie Collection. -Port Charlotte The Peat Project -Bruichladdich The Laddie 10 -Port Charlotte Scottish Barley/Heavily Peated -Bruichladdich Islay Barley: Rockside Farm 2007 I'm a big 'Laddie supporter. But today I'm here to share the good news, due to some recent good fortune, I was happy to gift myself this fine item today:
