Agreed, basically how I felt. I think the 4th round would be good value. I like him, but he better not be the first WR we draft unless we signed someone amazing haha. That comment brings back horrific memories of last years draft discussions, I remember we were saying the same thing last year and low and behold, Jalen Saunders and Shaq Evans in the fourth. I think I was leading the charge. It's a shame what could have been.

Back to Heeney LB Kansas really quick. He also ran a sub 11 second 60 yard shuttle. The only WR that ran faster than him was Amari Cooper. I'm half way through the OU vs Kansas game and he looks pretty good. Like the scouting report says at times he can struggle getting off blocks, but he's not terrible at it. I think once he gets into an NFL weight lifting program he'll be even better at it. He really has a nose for the ball. He already has a bunch of tackles, 1 for a loss, and a FF. Plus behind our great DLine we should be able to keep him pretty clean. He's only 6' 231, but looked good in the position drills today. He ran a 4.61 and had the 4th best 3-Cone time out of every position since 2006.

Lol....maybe Pryor actually makes a tackle this year, because you know it usually takes a first round safety 3 years to develop, at least that's what a lot of people keep telling us around here. Plus, I see Pryor changed his Twitter account name to star_island25.

I'm overly harsh on the meatheads but today was different. Even guys like Burfict, Henderson, and Lyerla at least tried during their combine. I have no idea what he was thinking and I wouldn't be surprised if deeper problems come to the surface in due time. Dawson does appear to be a bit of a prima donna. It was like the second he realized he wasn't running a good 40 he gave up after 35 yards, and didn't try again all day. He wasn't even getting pissed off like the others who did poorly. He just looked like "eh whatever." I have to give Burfict credit tho. He tried his hardest. He literally doesn't test well and dropped because of that and his anger problems on the field. Henderson really didn't give a fuck because he knew he could be great if he wanted to. That caused him to become lazy. I think Dawson is a combo of both of them. He knows he's great on the field and because he knows he doesn't test well he doesn't give a shit. That's a horrible attitude, but his game tape shows he does care a lot when he's in the game. That's why I'd still draft him some where. His attitude is what's gross. I can live with poor test results. A bit of a prima donna is being very light handed for his performance today. He quit at the combine and that takes him off of my board. At best he was considered a second round pick with red flags about his work ethic....he even admitted he was late multiple times to meetings. And then he comes out and quits at not only the 40, but the positional drills. I'll probably be wrong because I loved the tape and I was looking forward to his performance today.

Basically every safety we've drafted since Erik Coleman has had a better rookie year and showed more promise than him. Josh Bush would be the only one that I can think of that's worse, but he was a late round pick. Maybe he bought an overpriced house on star island in Miami? He sure as shit ain't one.

It's no different this year and after watching Macs interview with Eric Allen I feel at ease. He mentioned the strength of the draft as the WR's, RB's, OT's, and OLB's and that already has me sold.

He tested much better than I thought as well. Yeah I was cautiously optimistic about how he'd test. He's got great size too. I'm hoping we could grab him with our 4th round pick, but he might not make it out of the 3rd round. Especially with the best ILB prospect in a mediocre class testing poorly and acting like a douche.

Beasley in the 1st, Anthony in the 2nd I'd take it Rex is drafting Anthony, book it, it's a done deal.

Beasley in the 1st, Anthony in the 2nd I'd take it I'd love both, but I think Beasley fits like a glove in Jax. He also fits better in their defense than ours. Fowler would be my defensive pick at #6. Also as much as I love Anthony we better be trading back to the late second to take him. I still think that's a little too early for him, and on top of that we better have signed Bryant or Thomas. We can't wait for a WR again.
