I'm pretty sure he led the team in tackles that year, and was second team All ACC. He was a pretty highly rated High School prospect as well, one of the top 1 or 2 OLBs in his class. Yeah I just edited my post. It sounds like it did happen, but it was super brief. Like maybe he didn't get one start, but still played a lot and proved himself to the coaches.

It was definitely his Sophomore year, here is the snipetof the article. It didn't take Anthony long to make an impression as Clemson, logging action in 13 games and starting three games as a true freshman. He recorded 32 tackles and impressed with his playmaking ability, recording six tackles for loss, two sacks and leading the team with two forced fumbles despite his limited playing time. Anthony finished fourth on the club with 77 tackles a year later but was benched midway through the season. He stepped up a year later, however, nearly doubling his production with 131 stops, including 13.5 tackles for loss and four sacks while starting all 13 games. Though his numbers slipped again in 2014 (team-leading 73 tackles through the regular season), Anthony was the clear leader for the nation's top-rated defense, which allowed an average of just 259.6 yards a game.

This is what I love about our forum. I'm glad Ragu made this place and we all made it over here. I love our draft discussions. There may not be a lot of us but I think the quality is pretty damn high.

So lets say we take Fowler/Beasley/Ray/Gregory at 6
Would you be upset going with Bud Dupree in the 2nd?

He'd be good value, but we'd already have Coples and now Fowler/Beasley/Ray/Gregory. There should be an offensive player as good as Dupree there. If there isn't I'm trading the pick in this scenario.

Idk why he didn't get more playing time last year when it was obvious we were out of the playoffs. He did well enough in the preseason to warrant more playing time. Then proved it wasn't a fluke at the end of the season.

Without knowing what types of fronts he wants to play, and what he wants his OLBs to do, it's pure speculation on our part right now.

Just watched this video and I hate HL videos when judging a prospect. But of course I'll take a stab at it. Great hands catcher, good fluidity body wise, doesn't play to the speed he clocked today, lack of separation in a bad conference, needs work on route running. Overall I like him later in the draft.....say around the fourth. He plays like a tough mofo and I like that. Agreed, basically how I felt. I think the 4th round would be good value. I like him, but he better not be the first WR we draft unless we signed someone amazing haha. I haven't talked about McBride much since the east-west - mainly cause he was becoming almost over-hyped (if that's even possible for a WR from W&M), but he's 100% in all my mocks as a target for round 4. In fact, he'll probably go round 3. I saw what i needed to see from him in that short-lived spotlight, it was like a Stepbrothers' "YUP" moment. I don't think there's anyone questions his ability to play in the NFL... now, it's just a "how much do you love him" game for GMs.

Hey Lith......spill the dirt on Conley. Sorry, just getting caught back up after a weekend of bad 70s music and a bout with the flu. I would love to say that I saw this coming, but I had no idea that Conley is the physical freak that showed up in Indy on Saturday. I have not seen him play to his 4.3 speed. Solid route runner, decent but not great hands, only real deep threat on the team this past year. Always known that he is a great kid and leader on that team -- but 4.35 and a 45-inch vertical. Nope, never saw that coming. I will be rooting for the kid on draft day -- before the weekend, I assumed that the best he could hope for was 7th round, more likely UDFA. Now he is probably a solid day 3 pick.

This second group should be better....I mean they can't be worse.

One of my favorites Chris Hackett ran poorly. Hopefully it drops him. Also Byron Jones good god man. 44.5 vert and a 12'3 broad jump. That broad jump is better than anyone since NFLN has covered the combine. It's a shame he's not running today.

Hackett is doing well in the position drills tho so that's nice.

I would to draft Darby. Also Jalen Collins made himself some money today.
