Beasley in the 1st, Anthony in the 2nd I'd take it Defense in the first AND second......someone put a bullet in my head. We take the BPA I don't care who it is....we can get all the offense we need in FA

Lol....maybe Pryor actually makes a tackle this year, because you know it usually takes a first round safety 3 years to develop, at least that's what a lot of people keep telling us around here. Plus, I see Pryor changed his Twitter account name to star_island25. How many posters here wanted too wait for a WR because it was deep at the position? It's no different this year and after watching Macs interview with Eric Allen I feel at ease. He mentioned the strength of the draft as the WR's, RB's, OT's, and OLB's and that already has me sold. Agreed, just because there is depth doesn't mean you pass on the elite talent at the top of it, it just allows you to double up on it later if it's a position of need.

Beasley in the 1st, Anthony in the 2nd I'd take it Rex is drafting Anthony, book it, it's a done deal. He better not. I think he needs to draft your worst draft prospect again this year to thank Clemson for taking his son. I will be even more pissed at the Boyd pick if he takes a good Clemson player this year.

Does Rex really need an ILB with Alonzo coming back? He'll draft a CB...you know this....lol Rex wants a thumper in the middle. Anthony will be his obligatory Clemson draft pick.

You can't draft defense every single year and expect to have even a mediocre offense. EG New York Jets

We're not getting Dez or Thomas THose two are not even an option I know we're not, and Anthony isn't worth our 2nd round pick. Especially when there should be a good WR available at our pick in round 2. I could justify taking Anthony in the 3rd. He looks the part and played well this year, but this is the same player who lost his starting spot his Junior year.

He started 7 games as a Sophomore.

Might he go in round 2? Yes, but there have been players with far better numbers and did better at the combine that have gone later. Nobody was really talking about Anthony until today. I just think there will be quite a few players at our 2nd pick that would be better value, and that's not a knock on him.

MLB is by no means worthy of our second round pick, especially in your scenario where we target defense in the first round.

If you type in Stephone Anthony starting job Junior year into google you'll see it, but when you click on the link it's gone. Weird haha Wait actually it's still there. So it was probably very briefly. STRENGTHS Has desired build for position. Good play speed and is generally under control. Steady, consistent tackler when he's squared up. Has speed to chase to the sidelines and finish the play. Able to cover tight ends in passing game. Breaks to ball quickly against pass. Flashes ball skills and will play through pass-catchers. Features traits to be a more effective blitzer if called upon. Will compete through whistle and is physical against skill-position players. Lost job as junior and regained starting position with hard work and good attitude. Can cover ground laterally. www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/stephone-anthony?id=2552321

Weird haha I'm pretty sure he led the team in tackles that year, and was second team All ACC. He was a pretty highly rated High School prospect as well, one of the top 1 or 2 OLBs in his class.
