I am starting to think more and more that Cooper will be the guy. He is probably the safest prospect at this point with his quickness and route running ability, he might be similar to a Marvin Harrison. If we get him this offense has a chance to be explosive as long as Geno has his head into it.

I don't really give a shit if Cooper is 2 inches shorter than Parker/White. He's still the superior player IMO.

List needs to be updated, Ray came in to Jets HQ for an interview and workout. He is another safe bet. The guy was a monster as an edge rusher. You can say he is too small, but at the very least he can start off as a situational pass rusher who will put tons of heat on the QB...he can then bulk up and eventually become a starter.

Tyeler Davison would be a nice pick if we trade back and grab a 5th. Also fuck Dillon Day. He's a scumbag and stomped on players in two different games.

Cooper would be a very solid pick at 6. High floor, low risk guy I think. His best may not be quite what Parker and White's best could be, meaning those other two have more potential in my opinion. But Cooper is a Top 10 talent, no doubt about it.

Man. I'm praying we go Cooper. OLB can be handled in round 2.
Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, Amari Cooper & Jeremy Kerley. Cooper can learn so much from Marshall & Decker. Can be our franchise WR in 2 years. We need this as a team.

I mean, i get the whole "If he's there at 6, you gotta take him" mentality. I don't agree with it, but i get it.... but to want Mariota?

Fits the mold of a big blocking WR that Gailey would covet considering how he likes to use receiver and running back screens.

He's still the superior player IMO. how can you actually want Mariota?.... I mean, i get the whole "If he's there at 6, you gotta take him" mentality. I don't agree with it, but i get it.... but to want Mariota? Because I see a lot of positives. Size, arm, quick release, athleticism, smarts and elite intangibles. The kid doesn't get nearly enough credit for going through his progressions either. Everyone seems to have this perception that just because of the offense that he played in, he's a one read QB. Which isn't the case at all. Add that to the fact that we have an OC who will know how to utilize him to the fullest extent. You could easily make the argument that next to Philly, the Jets are the next best landing spot for him simply because of Chan Gailey. Is Mariota the perfect QB prospect? No. If he was, we wouldn't have a shot in hell at him. He'd be a Buc, period. But I see enough positives to make me comfortable with taking a shot on him if he's still there at #6.
