4 oline guys, so I guess they're not ignoring the position like I thought. but still no RB's Given Maccagnan's background and the fact the Jets signed Ridley in the off-season, wouldn't be surprised if the Jets bypass RB entirely through the draft and look to add a RB as a UDFA before or during training camp. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we have Ivory, Powell, Ridley and Daryl Richardson already on the roster as RBs? Even with Ivory and Powell FAs after this season, I don't think the Jets would be pressured to take a RB during the draft, unless one of the RBs falls a long way and becomes a compelling pick.

We do have those four, I guess they are serviceable. This is such a deep RB class (so I hear) that you'd think they might want to pick up a really good one for the future. It just seems like Gailey's offense must not value the position much. IDK Not sure what you mean by Maccagnan's background relative to the RB position.

I'm reasonably sure that Maccagnan was with Houston when they signed Foster as an UDFA. He would know as well as any that you can get good running backs cheap.

Maccagnan was also there when they drafted Ben Tate in the second round. Just because you have success at finding a gem as an UDFA one year doesn't mean you adhere to that philosophy in every draft.

Ok so I am probably totally off base when I am saying this, but is Macc looking to trade Mo Wilk? I know there is a separate thread for this but if that is the case, I do not like the idea.
