1 ~ Deshaun Watson ~ 2-3 yrs away but will be taken in the 1st round
2 ~ Mitch Trubisky ~ 1-2 yrs away but also will be taken in the 1st round
3 ~ C J Beathard ~ 2-3 yrs away but will be there in the 4rd or later . A favorite of mine .
4 ~ Chad Kelly ~ 2-3 yrs away and is a 2nd or 3rd pick because of the position he plays .
5 ~ Deshone Kizer ~ 3-4 yrs away but will be taken in the 1st or early 2nd . kid is a project
*** Patrick Towles ~ anywhere from 6th round to undrafted . Needs a few yrs, but will make some GM famous . |

He declared for the draft yesterday. I think he would have been better served by another year in school, although given the potential depth and quality of next year's class, I get why he would come out now.

I understand how tempting it will be for the Jets to pick a QB in the first round, but I hope they stay away from all these guys in the first round.

IMO kizer is the only one with first round physical talent and abilities. He's awful, and makes Geno Smith look like Joe Montana . 2 of the guys I listed have experience taking snaps from under center and making checks at the LOS .This mook isn't one of em . Now watch him turn into Dax Prescott next yr, LOL . |

Now watch him turn into Dax Prescott next yr, LOL . Notice that I said nothing of his experience. What he has over the others in this less than stellar QB class is the more natural, physical ability to play QB in the NFL. I can't speak for his head. The interviews and chalk talk will be integral to his draft stock. But, if he does have the head for an NFL Offense, he's got the other stuff in spades. |

If a franchise guy is not there this year, then try to build the pieces around the QB this offseason. Nothing sets a franchise back quite like swinging and missing on a QB high in the first round -- kind of like Jacksonville and Blake Bortles. |

Whatever it was it was one of the worst decisions I've seen since drafting Kyle Brady over Warren Sapp. Actually it's probably worse because as much as Brady sucked at least he played. I don't think Hack will ever see an NFL field in a regular season game. _ |
