================================================= No Kidding? How does that work, are people just refusing to pay, do they give fake names? 14,000,000 newly uninsured won't be held liable for there debts.. What a mess, Govt. should of never got in the health care providing business. Theres a shit ton of Americans living pay check to paycheck. Any idea what a trip ti the ER for a heart attack costs...and a few days in the hospital. Cant get blood from a stone. If they don't have the money to have a heart attack then they shouldn't have one. Fucking poor people always trying to live outside their means.

The same people that paid for it before Obamacare and now pay for it through Obamacare subsidies. So how does Trumpcare fix this? The intent is to reduce prices through further regulation but I don't think that question has been answered yet.

I blame FDR. His whole second bill of rights thing in 1945, declaring everyone has the right to a job, healthcare, and a good education. It can be argued that none of those are truly rights.

Imagine if some of the people in the country would actually make the best use of the free education that is already available to them.

The wording is tricky since he didn't us the term FREE or ACCESS TO. He wanted these things so the nation would be more secure and less susceptible to political upheaval. I think most of us like the idea of public schools (that we pay taxes for) because a citizenry with at least basic knowledge is beneficial to us all. So by extension some believe our taxes should go to at least basic healthcare. Problem being healthcare doesn't have a start and an end and the costs are never fixed. I think we are headed for 2 tiered healthcare. The poor and the not poor. Like everything else.

Not a right at all. Its "available" for those who want to work hard. I'm fucking working 16 hour days at my new company, no one can make it happen but me. I succeed, great. If I fail, on to the next thing... No one has handed me anything other than I lit joint.

We already have that, it is called Medicaid and then paying for your own "insurance" if you aren't poor.
