Why would we trade Mo just to draft Leonard Williams? Unless we somehow traded for a Riversesque QB along with a top ten pick it just doesn't make sense. What if he falls to number 6? Which IMO is looking like a real possibility. i doubt he gets to 6, since if he gets to 5 i somehow i see washington trading it to atl or chi. that would be a hotspot for a trade if williams is there at 5.

i wonder if mccagnan is thinking about trading wilk to the titans in a deal to get mariotta. i think the jets could get a pick back in the deal, besides the 2nd pick of the draft. 2nd pick + x = 6th pick + wilkerson. what is x, a mid rounder? FUCK. THAT. Are you people insane?! You all sound like those assholes who wanted to go all in on "Jonny Fuckin Football" Maybe that was some of you. When will you learn your lessons?

When will you learn your lessons? the jets won't be able to pay all these defensive players. at some point the salaries/talent must equal out. this would bring in a qb and jumpstart the process of arming the offense with weapons. it could be why they've been hesitant to extend him, while they test his value leading up to the draft.

I agree think it's unlikely, given that Williams is widely perceived as the best overall talent in the draft. However a possible top four is Winston, Mariota, Fowler, Cooper. I think there is a chance that Williams falls to Washington at 5. Washington like the Jets are set on the DL, they likely trade out of 5 ,but if not - they the Jets will likely trade down and let someone grab Williams or... take Williams and trade Mo to maybe the Browns for a second first round pick.

Why not just let him play out his contract and then franchise tag him. In two years he might not be the same player in which case the Jets can move on. If he gets better he'll be worth a big contract. He's not going to sit out two seasons, and if he does, he will lose a lot of money and Coples can take his place.

In other words, we're not actively looking to trade him but we'll listen to offers.

Because they ARE going wiht Fisher tomorrow I definitely would not mind Fisher at all. I want Strong or Fisher. I was hoping for DGB but I don't know if they'll draft him because character issues. And away we go. Round 2 starts now.

Mo may be trade bait for next year.....not this year.
We can franchise tag him for 2016.
