The good. Forte Oline Jalin Marshall Quincy Dline is just WOW. McClendon got some explosiveness for a nose tackle.
The bad a Decker & Marshall were quiet (good luck with that becoming a trend) probably the most overlooked part of the game was tackling. Everyone hoping on the secondary but poor tackling led to a lot of RAC. Most importantly you guys are doom & gloom over everything.

The best they can do is cut him and have about 7 million (maybe?) or so on the books for the next two years. "Restructure" implies he gets his money, just more spread out, which would be even worse as he declines further and further. No? I think the plan is to have Revis transition to FS where his football brains and love of film study should allow him to perform at a high level. If he makes the transition to FS next year he would probably be the best in the league. He has every single skill you look for in a FS and would be following in the footsteps of the Woodsons' and Lott. Unfortunately he'll probably be a CB for us the next two years, then when we finally cut him he extends his HOF resume with some great seasons at safety.

After watchin the game again I think Brian Winters deserves a mention.
He's turning into a solid player.

Revis Island is washed up. WASHED UP. He is completely destroying this organization with his poor play and horrendous contract!!!

After watchin the game again I think Brian Winters deserves a mention. He's turning into a solid player. I was very impressed with the entire O-line. My main thought entering the game was that after Mangold and Clady, the O line is garbage. In addition to Winters, I think the RT rotation played light years better than I a have ever seen Breno play. That right side did a stellar job even though they lined up against Dunlap and Atkins that entire game. The O line even took over the game for a period of time in the 4th quarter on the 12 play/73 yard drive that stalled at the goal line that was ALL rushing yards. How do you have a first and goal at the 3 where you just gained 75 yards on 6 rushes to the right and up the middle Forte and Powell, and not be able to dial up a scoring play? Here's how: First down - have your QB try a "sneak" from the 3 yard line - Really WTF!?; Second down - send it up the middle with Forte your least powerful back; Third Down - try a pass even though you gained ZERO yards on one pass during the drive. They had just gained 50+ yards on that drive going to the right side! So, on first and goal from the 3 yard line, they decide to abandon this. There is an old adage that you Dance with who brung ya. Oftentimes the Jets seem to be their own worst enemy.

Pathetic, and we needed that TD obviously.

That should never have ended in 0 points

That should never have ended in 0 points I said right then we were gonna lose the game. When Folk missed the XP I said we were def gonna lose by 1. I shouldn't be able to call games like this. I'm not NEARLY smart enough.
