I feel that way every time I think of this years draft. The Jets had a chance to land a stud WR last year in the deepest draft in a decade. Now you see this years draft with Cooper really being the only solid pick and you have to feel really pissed. With a really bad draft teams will be paying top dollar for a WR like Thomas or Cobb if they hit FA. The Jets could have been set for years by trading up for Beckham but this clown decided to keep all 12 picks then cut 9 of them. People cant even begin to understand the damage Idzik has done to this franchise The Jets WRs corps are slow and lack any being that game changing type of weapon. The Jets chance to fix this has passed all we can hope for is if Cooper somehow falls very unlikely and he isn't even as good as last years crop so he isn't worth trading up for.

Unless Mariota falls to the Jets no way are the Jets getting Foles. Foles will be packaged in a trade for the Eagles to move up. They are actually looking to use both Foles and McCoy plus draft picks for the Eagles to move up and get him. I could See Tampa Bay or Tenn Fleecing the Eagles. Chip Kelly is nuts like Dikta was over Williams, with full control over personnel moves I could see Kelly do something dumb. If I were Mccaghan and Mariota fell to the Jets I would take Foles, Mccoy, and this years 1 and 2 plus next years 1 and 2 Kelly would probably jump on it

What it means is the Jets are not taking a QB in round 1. They are going to see if they can fix him.

Hess was a moron but Petey would not not have succeeded like he is with Seattle. The Jets front office was horrible with characters like Steve Gutman, Petey was doomed from the start.

Honestly these guy are focus on fixing this franchise not wasting their time making speeches so the NY media has a story. I like what they are doing instead worrying about photo ops they went right to work. I could care less if they even have a press conference a lot to get done in getting this franchise back on track, so Im fine with no press conference.

Taking a Saftey instead of a WR in the first round. Knew he was a moron after that and not moving up, trading a few of the 12 picks to get a top WR even after the dumb Pryor pick. God, he was a first class moron. That was about the point I realize this guy had no clue. 12 pick could have traded up for Beckham JR or grabbed Cooks, then got a 2ND one later on like Moncrief or Matthews. Waiting to round 4 to address WR really sealed it for me.

Last season's draft 12 picks being wasted only 2 players out of 12 being starters only 4 remaining on the roster. To see Idzik screw up the deepest draft in a decade sealed it for me.

Seeing the Mac personally scouted and drafted Mallet it will be interesting to see if he actually goes after Mallet to compete with Geno. My prediction is he will with a bad QB draft and free agency there isn't much out there to choose from. Since he knows, scouted, and drafted Mallet plus the Jets greatest need is QB, I figure that might be the first player he signs. Thoughts? Mac may have scouted him but the Pats* drafted him. Your right Pats drafted him my mistake.
