Watching people try to pick who was worse between Idzik and Rex is like the South Park episode where they were torn between voting for a douche or a turd sandwich.
They both fucking sucked. And this is coming from a Rex fan.

Troy Aikman: Deflatriots punishment should exceed Saints bounty punishment Posted by Josh Alper on January 22, 2015, 3:12 PM EST Former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman has weighed in on Deflategate and he thinks that the Deflatriots should be in for a harsh punishment from the NFL. Aikman made an appearance on Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket on Thursday and said he believed that it is “obvious” quarterback Tom SparklePony was involved in deflating the footballs. He also referenced Commissioner Roger Goodell’s punishment of the Saints for running a bounty program that rewarded players for hurting opponents when explaining why he believed the Deflatriots needed more than the “slap on the wrist” Aikman feels they got for videotaping their opponents’ sideline in 2007. “This whole comment by Roger Goodell based on the Saints when Sean Payton got suspended for the year, and he says ‘ignorance is no excuse,’ that’s going to come back to haunt him again,” Aikman said, via the Dallas Morning News. “That haunted him during the whole Ray Rice situation with he, himself, and now it’s going to haunt Roger Goodell in terms of what the punishment is for the New England Deflatriots and Bill Homeless Hoodie. If ignorance is no excuse, and it wasn’t for Sean Payton. …[The Saints] did not give themselves a competitive advantage. Now twice, under Bill Homeless Hoodie and possibly a third time, they’ve cheated and given themselves an advantage. To me, the punishment for the Deflatriots and/or Bill Homeless Hoodie has to be more severe than what the punishment was for the New Orleans Saints.” Payton and General Manager Mickey Loomis were suspended for the entire 2012 season by the league as a result of their bounty findings, assistant coach Joe Vitt was suspended six games, defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was suspended indefinitely, the team was fined $500,000 and the Saints were stripped of second-round picks in 2012 and 2013. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/22/troy-aikman-Deflatriots-punishment-should-exceed-saints-bounty-punishment/Well said, Troy. If I'm Payton, I'm pullin a "you forgot the briefcase!" on Goodell if the Pats only get a slap on the wrist.

My prediction. SparklePony says he talks to the crew about how he likes his footballs. He has no knowledge of PSI or anything like that, but just tells them the feel he likes and lets them figure it out. DENY DENY DENY. Not a bad call. If I was an arrogant, low-class, cheatin-ass piece of shit that's exactly what I'd do.

If I'm not mistaken, Geno was a top rated QB for the last month of the 2013 season as well. If that's the case, he's shown ability but has done it when the pressure was off in meaningless December games when the Jets were out of it (although they may have still been alive early Dec 2013). Maybe some truth here. But aren't you at least a little curious to see if someone can work with him and make those late-season performances the norm instead of the exception?

Listen whether or not Geno was the biggest problem (most already think he was) what an absolutely classless cover your ass thing for Lee to say. Pretty much. I'll be honest, what I'm choosing to take from this is the "over the last 5 games being the 7th-ranked passer in the league" statement. I knew he was playing better, but didn't know he was playing that much better. And even though I'm sure I'm in an extreme minority here, I'm still holding out hope for Geno. Stats like that help my (weak) cause.

Sorry to ruin your early experience. You're damn right it's your bad, Harrier. if quinn winds up in miami, then cass/wolf figured it out, kudos to them. Not quite sure how it would be good that we hired a coach because the FO didn't feel like they had the ability to get the guy they really wanted... If this is true then either Quinn was lying about the Jets being his first choice or Tannenbaum is a better closer. I'd rather believe that Bowles was the first choice and neither of those scenarios is true.

Even though Bradway was the one person in the building who was high on Russell Wilson a few years ago, he gets no credit for that since he had no clout or influencing skills to make that pick happen. It would have been the one good thing he did for this team and he couldn't do it.
That said, again we're way too quick with the praise. Cleaning house is literally the EASIEST thing a new hire can do...people damn near expect it. Idzik cleaned house (player-wise) and what did that do? Why are we giving somebody credit for literally the easiest task he could have?
I'll wait for results myself.

That's very true. I did not know he would be paid that much, but people calling him a bust I think is dumb. Not every player is a probowler. Especially when they're asked to play out of position most of their career. Yea, he isn't a bust. He is a 3.75 to 4 million dollar a year player. Yes. And you need those - can't be all superstars and scrubs. I agree with your other post about seeing what he can do in a 4-3 first as well...thought he showed the most potential in his rookie year when he was on the line and at that time it wasn't a pure 4-3.

Dude, he's a 4-3 DE playing out of position for just about his entire tenure here. It's not his fault the defensive genius took him out of his natural spot. They lined him up with his hand in the dirt plenty enough. 5 sacks on a good year? No thanks. Move on. He's clearly never going to achieve his potential. And if he did achieve his potential, the Jets wouldn't be able to keep him, Wilkerson and Richardson. Not enough money to go around to pay all three guys. You can't have superstars everywhere. Bruce Irvin was drafted before Coples, is more of a pure passrusher, and has the exact same amount of career sacks as QC. He's inexpensive (for now), solid if not spectacular, and potential playmaker in the right scheme. Why dump him now, to replace him with...?

We need to change the auto correct to recognize Tom before Brady so that every time you type Brady it doesn't turn into Brady. What if I wanted to talk about Brady Quinn or Wayne Brady or The Brady Bunch?

"Journalism" just blows these days.
How can you write an article that proclaims the guy is a bad fit, when the ONLY supporting data you put forth is that it's NYC and the "temptations of the night" might bring him down?
Warren Sapp and Dan Marino would have fallen prey to NYC too. That's why Kyle Brady and Ken O'Brien were much better picks. Kyle handled NYC like a champ off the field, and in the end, that's all that really matters when you're a football player in this city, right?

Despite the fact that I still can't believe they stopped the game for his 1,000th reception (of course against the Jets), I don't know how Tim Brown isn't in the Hall already. Especially a Hall where Andre Reed is in.
Agree with Fish on Lynch...he almost looks out of place with that bunch. Great player, not a game-changer.
Harrison's bio is hilarious thanks to the auto-correct.
