I absolutely HATE the following posters:
Untouchable JetNut JetBidi FrankReynolds Vinny Testaverde's Niece
And pretty much anybody who is not giving the Jets a chance to win the Super Bowl this year.

If the recent comments from Woody and Bowles are any indication, the Jets have no intent on trading for a vet QB at this point. It's going to be Geno or whatever rookie they take in the draft.

Sherman is the best corner in the game, with Revis an extremely close second. I look at it as a 1A, 1B relationship. After those guys, there is a solid dropoff to #2 and #3.

It's moves like this that allow us to go BPA during the draft. Think of all the needs we came into the offseason with: Secondary - taken care of #1 WR - taken care of OL depth - taken care of Vet QB competition - taken care of What are our needs now? Edge Rusher - plenty in this draft, especially at #6 Young RB - maybe round 2? Young QB - Marcus at 6? Grayson, Petty, Hundley rounds 2-3? We've got a lot of flexibility in this draft now. We might have built some OL depth, but the starters are still very weak. I'd have liked to see more emphasis in free agency. Maybe Macc has found some diamonds in the rough or the kids step up, but right now I'd consider our oline well below average. Outside of Mangold and Brick ( who might just be average), we are well below average at each of the other spots. The skill positions are decent but without a good oline, I fear the offense will look very similar to last year. vicmill Why don't you whine more, you crybaby SOJF bitch?

As much as I hate the Pats, the Giants should be investigated for their two SB wins against NE. No way a team that under-talented should have beaten undefeated and 14-2 regular season teams, respectively.

No one's going to agree with me, but I'd give up the entire draft for either of those guys if that's what it took to get them here. It's a throwaway year with geno and the beard anyways. You don't win super bowls without franchise qb's and I'm sick of watching them throw out these 4th tier qb's every year. Not that it would take that much, but I 100 percent agree. I don't expect playoffs this year because of the quarterback position. Drafting a rookie quarterback means having to develop him, taking a couple of years while we waste the prime years of our best players. The fact of the matter is with Rivers I'd say we are a lock for the playoffs. With Brees? I'd say AFC championship caliber. I don't believe either player is getting moved honestly, but Rivers I could see. I would definitely do our 6th pick for Rivers straight up, if that was what it would be. We would instantly be a playoff caliber team. You guys suck and are really shitty fans.

pass rusher>>run stuffer in today's NFL if we get Osi, we got the better of the Giants. our ex-Giants player would be better than their ex-Jets player. No And Osi didnt come from the Giants. He was on Atl. On top of that he had like 2 sacks last season in 16 games, to Ellis's 1 in part time action. He's not better than Ellis, I hope we don't make an offer You worry way too much about every other team. Who cares that he used to be a Giant, how does that make us better? Osi was an elite pass rusher just a few years ago, he can still contribute as a starter in this league. Ellis is injury-prone and couldn't even crack our starting lineup. The reason I care is that we need to prove that WE are the Team of NY.

It'll be interesting what happens to Coples if the Jets end up signing Osi. I wouldn't be surprised if you were pulling this out of your ass, but is there some rumor to this? It was in Bleacher Report the other day, some guy from a local paper tweeted that Osi visited and worked out at the Jets facility. It would be a nice grab for us and wouldn't necessarily lock the Jets into drafting a pass rusher in the 1st round.

Did anybody catch that article on Wesley Walker on Bleacher Report yesterday? Forgot the exact site that published the article, but it talks about how Walker can only sleep for four hours a day, forgets where he's driving while on the road, has trouble walking, etc.
I think we're going to see a lot more players coming out about their past injuries. I hope Goodell has his PR team ready to roll on this one.

It's a mix of both. BPA at a position of need. You don't just go BPA regardless of position, that's about as asinine as over-reaching for need at every spot. If it's between Mariota and Fowler at #6, I can see an argument for both sides, since they will likely impact the team to the same extent. A potential franchise QB can turn a team around overnight, whereas an elite pass rushing LB will turn this defense from top-five to arguably best in the league, just like that. However, if go LB in the first round, and it comes down to the best available OL or QB like Petty/Hundley in the 2nd, the QB is likely the higher value/BPA at that position of need. Value is not a fixed variable; it fluctuates based on the circumstances of the draft.

What the hell does one do with that much Nutella? That can't be good for anyone. Or anything.
You clearly haven't been high and drunk off your ass at 3 AM in the middle of Bumfuck, Florida.
