Nice, easy win. Never in doubt. I love you, Ryan Pulock. I think they're starting to wear them down just like the last two series. LGI!!!! Those guys are hard to kill. Like we saw tonight. TB responded like champions in the 3rd period, but our 2nd, and Ryan Pulock was just enough to give us the edge. LGI.

Had to figure that there will be a game or two like last night. We need to keep games close with them. Ideally play with a lead, but we need to at least stay within one goal. They are deep, they have a lot more offensive firepower than we have, and once we have to play from behind, we will need to take chances to get our d-men involved in the rush, and a 2-1 game becomes 4-1 awfully quickly.
We are back home tomorrow night. We can play the matchups. Get some good goaltending and (hopefully) score first and play with lead.

Those four cups were the highlight of my childhood. I caught some of the Bruin games after like 30 years of not caring. What are our chances vs Tampa? And, then Las Vegas? You should start caring again. This Isles team, no matter how much some of us bitch is solid throughout the entire line-up and they come to play every night. It's very easy to root for this group of players and of course Trotz. And this team is built for the playoffs. We roll 4 lines, 2 solid goalies, strong defensively, disciplined, don't take a lot of penalties and most importantly, we are physicial. 3rd in the league in hits in the regular season. lead the league in hits in the playoffs. We wear teams down. We are a tough team to play for 6 or 7 straight games. Lightning are tough, there is still a long way to go in this series, but we are not an easy matchup for anyone in the playoffs.

What a game. Clinic in playoff hockey on the road. This was not stealing a game, we were the better team today. Heavy forecheck, physical, winning puck battles, controlling the puck, keeping TB in their own end through most of the 3rd period. Bullshit penalty call gave them the 6 on 4, but aside from that final 90 seconds, we controlled almost the entire 3rd period. Was really hoping to get a split in Tampa, but now I want game 2 also.
LETS GO ISLANDERS!!!

Where has that game been all playoffs. Those are the Islanders who can win a Cup. Loved the way we played in that 3rd period after giving up the goal. That was a clinic in how to protect a lead. Kept the puck in their end, completely shut them down. Almost no chances over the last 15 minutes. And how about a little credit for Lamoriello. Sajac and Palmieri were great tonight. Neither guy did much in the regular season, but those guys stepped up big time, especially Sajac coming in for Wahlstrom. Penalty kill is gonna have to get a lot better, but tonight is for celebrating a win. Worry about Tampa tomorrow. It was good back and forth hockey but when we stop hitting and forechecking our game goes down the toilet. We figured that out after the last Bruins goal and started playing our game. I'd still rather Wahlstrom over Zajac but that doesn't matter right now. LGI!!!!! Wahlstrom is the better player with much more upside. But after he went down, who would you rather have had out there, Sajac or Dal Colle. Lou's trade deadline acquisitions the last two years have all been huge in this playoff; Where would we be without Pageau, Palmiere and Sajac?

Highest scoring team in the playoffs with 43 goals: The New York Islanders. Never thought that would be possible.

Please win tonight. Thanks, -Big L They gotta get it done tonight. I don't like our chances of going into Boston and winning a game 7. We are at home, have the crowd behind us & the last line change. Get the Win tonight, fellas.

Bruins 5th in the league in PM, isles 29, and their coach is crying that the isles get PPs. lol fucking delusional Cassidy is just trying to get an extra call or two on Wedbesday night. When you take a penalty, it is your team's job to kill it, something they only did once out of 4 chances. Nobody seem to ever want to give the Isles credit.

I hope he pulls Dobson next game.....he's been beyond horrible this entire playoff series. Problem is, who do you go to in his place. Cobern has only played 3 games in the system. And Hickey has not played in over two months. NO good options for that 6th d-man spot.
