You do realize how many a million is, right? You are claiming we have killed millions of civilians. Unless there is some cover up that we all don't know about I say you are talking out of your ass. And please explain to me how those responsible for 9/11 are "so-called terrorists", as you called them. AQ and their affiliates will always be a threat. They will likely never be able to succeed in a 9/11 scale of attack again but they can use the internet and social media to recruit weak Americans and turn them into lone wolves. We are still there b.c we don't want to squander the gains we made and end up with a situation like we have in Iraq with ISIS. I just don't buy into the idea that if we just pick up and leave they will stop hating us. They hated us long before 9/11. They teach their children to hate us. This is never ending. You don't have to believe the numbers. And more than this, it can't be proven but it can't be denied either. We can't know how many there have been but understand there is a ton of one-sided firefights having taken place where there was complete annihilation. 14 years worth. That much I gathered from being there. They can't handle all the modern weaponry and training - they've been getting massacred.
Can you explain why we're there 14 years later? Why we continue to pour in between 7-10 billion per month for a total of over 6 trillion (and why this isn't being used at home)? Do you think those terrorists are still a threat? Really?
And where's the proof that the "terrorists" did it? Show me. Show me one shred of evidence linking Al Qaida with those towers falling. Bin Laden never admitted to it - he was never wanted by the FBI either. He was trained by the CIA - why would he want to attack the US? And name for me just one shred of evidence linking those planes going into the ground in PA and into the Pentagon while you're at it. Go ahead, the internet is FULL of information and the 9/11 Commission was long and tedious but there remains NO evidence. Kind of like the Iraq war. It's all been debunked and refuted. All of it.
They didn't hate us before we arrived. They don't even have TV's. And why in the WORLD would anyone provoke the US? Try explaining that to me. I'm interested in being enlightened.
Lol @ they don't have TV's. I thought you said you've been to Iraq?

"why in the WORLD would anyone provoke the US?" Hatred and religious zealotry would be 2 reasons. Here is a humorous third www.imdb.com/title/tt0053084/?ref_=nv_sr_1You should ask for this year's model for Xmas or maybe VTN can get some aluminum "yarn" and knit you one.

Lol @ they don't have TV's. I thought you said you've been to Iraq? Also the Internet is FULL of information. Fucking full of it. Perhaps I can make a good argument for the serpent seed doctrine. I found countless internet information on it that can't be disproved.

You're wrong... Try a credible source for your information.. AP good enough? WASHINGTON (AP) — CIA Director John Brennan is acknowledging that agency officers did "abhorrent" things to captive terror suspects, and he says he can't prove the harsh treatment made the prisoners cooperate. But he defends the overall post-9/11 interrogation program for stopping attacks and saving lives. That is the carefully balanced case that Brennan attempted to make Thursday during an unprecedented televised news conference at CIA headquarters, something no one on the CIA public affairs staff could remember ever happening at the secretive agency's Virginia campus. At the heart of Brennan's remarks was an exquisitely nuanced argument: That while today's CIA takes no position on whether the brutal interrogation tactics themselves led detainees to cooperate, there is no doubt that detainees subjected to the treatment offered "useful and valuable" information afterward. Brennan said it was "unknown and unknowable" whether the harsh treatment yielded crucial intelligence that could have been gained in any other way.AP?! ROFL - uberlibs carrying water for Obungler? NO - NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

It's simple really. They hate the US (and Europe btw) because you show the rest of the world that a way of life that's radically different from te one that they are offering is not oly possible but better! They hate Europe for moore historical reasons. They are zealots. And by definition they are not reasonabl people. So yes there is an affect of your Middle East policy on the number of people who can be scared into joining the fanatics but fundementally they hate you because you are successful at providing for your citizens. There is simply no place for a country like America where you can live as mostly as you like and provide for your family by working hard. Don2t you have problems; sure. You guys probably know those better than I do since I haven't been to the states for 20 years save for a couple of vacations. You've been to Afghanistan, I'm a Turk. I've lived with these idiots on my doorstep all my life. They are not going to start being nice to you simply because you pack up and leave. Having said this I belive FatFuck2's points are valid if you hold yourself to a higher standard than the rest of us then you have to be more diligent in judging yourself. I have no problem with the pain, discomfort or torture terrorists endured. But If you guys stop holding yourself to a higher standard by comparing yourself to a bunch of morons in the desert (but ISIS is doing it too) for people who want to follow US's example that is much more disappointing than the torture itself.

Type ğ for Yes Ç for No I think it had more to do with his blind hatred of the Assad regime. Of course the Kurdistan issue does come into it as well. I also don't see it as he was supporting ISIS but he was more trying to play one against the other. Whenever one side looks like its winning Turkey does something to help the other side.
