Its not like that because trade agreements moved the manufacturing jobs off shore, now they are using H1B visas to bring in slave labor in the middle tier and offshoring for all the other jobs. Bernie isn't going to fix that. As for the kids being able to find jobs, my step daughter is 19 and has been able to get jobs at day cares, coffee shops, etc which are helping pay her way through college. There are tons of jobs. Drive down the street and look at all the businesses hiring. Millennials just feel they are entitled to be directors the day they feel like applying because the are so fucking entitled. Baloney. This whole millenial's being lazy thing is bullcrap. Every generation says it about the next. Part time barista jobs with no benefits ain't going to bring back the middle class. You are the one who is out of touch. Yes, there are some hard working millenials, but, for the most part, they are a bunch of over-priveldged, LAZY, ignorant, weirdos who think they deserve the world on day one. They don't know anything about America or history or what it takes to get ahead because their little heads have been filled with politicially correct BS (first woman to drive a car and gender studies rather then learning about the founding fathers, WW2 or the bill of rights). A majority of them actually think that people shouldn't be able to say "hurtful words" - that's protected by the fucking FIRST AMENDMENT!!!! IDIOTS! They are too stupid to work anywhere besides a barista job and, by the way, FUCK starbucks too.

The fact is more people who so loudly proclaim they "earned" what they have did not in fact do so. The circumstances of their births, who they were born to, where, what color and gender and sexuality, their genetics, their parents efforts, their teachers efforts, their local school districts, etc, etc, etc, played vastly more of a role in their future success than any "effort" they themselves put in. People are products of their circumstances in the vast majority. Exceptions exist, and they only serve to prove the majority rule. If you are a kinda smart black or hispanic kid and study hard, get good grades and do decent on the SATs, you can get into Yale or Harvard for FREE. Hell, you can even become President (as our current one proves). If you are a poor white kid, good luck fella. As far as gender and sexuality? Now you are talking some big time, PC fucking bullshit. Affirmative Action should be ended. Any type of assistance should be based on the family's income, not on race or anything else.

Aren't these the same kids who have been fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan? Focus on the minority because it makes you feel superior, ah these young people blah blah blah. Show me a perfect generation in our short history of this great nation. It's impossible and you sound like a jackass. Baloney. This whole millenial's being lazy thing is bullcrap. Not the older millennials and Gen Xers who fought in Iraq and Afganstan idiot. Read the news dumby - every day there r protests on campuses because of some small slight or use of a forbidden word. They need trigger warnings in books and "safe spaces". All hell broke out recently at some schools because students had written the worlds "vote trump " in chalk. These r the little dumb bastards that I'm talking about.

Oh the ones the media shines a light on, you mean those? Aren't you the same guy who cries about the media bias too? I guess the media is dead on with the topics you agree on? There are still soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and other combat areas around the world, guess what they're not all older than 28. The media reports on BS because it sells ad time, the news business is dead. Aren't these the same kids who have been fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan? Right, I guess the protests over so called "hate speech" on college campuses from Georgia to Yale never really happened but were made up by the media. I have a brother who is 24 and he's a great guy so not all of them are coddled cry babies, but a large number of them certainly seem to be. You say one wrong word that these social justice warriors feel offended by and they act as if they were physcically attacked. Worst generation ever. This is my experience and opinion so we can agree to disagree.

It's funny because it appears Trump has brought out some of the really bad people from both sides, which goes to show you there are shitty people everywhere with different beliefs, but still shitty nonetheless. Social media shines a spotlight on the majority of ridiculous stuff out there and there are way too many people who want to be famous for no apparent reason as well. To say there the worse ever is def your opinion but I think you are caught up in the present and not looking hard enough to realize there are shitty people in every generation. We still on this millennial thing? Lets just say there are some good ones but the younger they are the worse they are.
Again, Ive played with, lived with and learned with them going on 30 years. Nobody is going to tell me that the selfish, spineless ingrates are the minority. Its a generation of followers that get their sense of worth from people other than themselves. They were raised with the instant gratification of the internet and coddling parents. Where an "unfriend" or a "dislike" on social media could send them into a literal death spiral.
For ever brave millennial that served this country I could show you 5 that are just drones that eventually just be dead weight for the rest of us to carry.
And of course there have been shitty people before this generation. As long as there has been and will be people there will be shitty people. We have just gotten better at making them I suppose.

I think you are both right. There have always been shitty people it is just that now with today's technology there is a conduit for the shitty "look at me" people to get in our faces if we even slightly open the door.

well... I can tell you if you taxed ALL the wealthy people, for ALL of their income , we could run the country for about 4 months. The beliefs you hold, while seemingly feel good, simply dont work. I eat at Panera alot. I havent spoken to a clerk in months. All ordering is online. Why dont we just mandate that all employees get a 20 year pension, $20 an hour and 8 weeks vacation. Universal health care? Im all for it. When all government employees are on that plan I am in. Until then, its all rhetoric. Why do you have to jump to the exaggerated 20 year pension crap to make a point? $15 an hours isn't going to kill any business and goes right back into the economy. And why are you against getting fellow citizens some decent basic healthcare, unless the system conforms to your made up parameters? Link?

At at some point... Government must step back. Why? Because individuals will solve these problems alone? Because our Corporations will not exploit every and any chance to abuse a Govt. free system? Please, we know you're not that naive my friend. Why? People who have more than they could ever possibly need can afford to pay and suffer in no real meaningful way for having done so, people who have less than they need cannot and should not. Taking $1.00 from some poor schmuck so we don't have to take that dollar for a guy with $100,000,000 is not moral nor is it righteous. It's exploitation, by the rich, for for the rich, to the benefit of the rich and the rich alone. Whats amazing is how many average slubs with no chance to EVER be rich themselves they've convinced to vote against their own fiscal interests. Be assured, unless you make some unreasonable amount of money, Universal Healthcare paid for by taxing the rich is better for you than the current system. Millions, including the vast majority of "derp no socialism in my merica!" Republican voters, would benefit greatly in fiscal terms to the detriment of a very few who would simply not get that fifth car or that third 10,000 sq ft. house in Paris. Yet they're convinced their impossible shot at Trump-like welath is better than actual things paid for by taxing the rich. Amazing that middle class voters would rather eat shit in our current system than support the rich paying higher taxes and themselves getting more benefits. If you believe this, then surely you are for a living wage, so the people you so easily bemoan for being on welfare, but ARE working, can stop taking welfare and be paid right? I mean you do understand that the low wage can only exist because corporations are taking advantage of welfare to get away with paying so little, right? No welfare = no more taking a $7.00 jobs for anyone. What the ultra-rich and their useful-idiot not-rich-but-think-they-have-a-chance-to-be friends don;t get is that wealth disparity can only go so far. Go too far, and rich will be eaten by the poor. Haven't been here in awhile, are you a Bernie supporter? Bernie is proposing to pay for his nanny state via more taxes on everyone, that will hurt everyone. (Why can't these guys pay for there new programs out of spending cuts rather than new taxes on everyone?) My annual taxes will go up a very significant amount under Burnie, and I can assure you I don't own a single 10k sq foot house, let alone 3 nor I am certain how I'm going to pay for my own retirement let alone my kids going to college. My effective tax rate would be so high that I'd effectively be penalized for all the 60+ hour work weeks, the vacations i didn't go on and the investment in my self and career I've made. Why would I continue to work nights and weekends while only keeping 30-40 cents out of every dollar i make? I don't think I would. Further, I am an exec a smallish internet company and can assure you that if Bernie's proposed increase in payroll taxes went through day 1 my company would be all but forced to lay off people and/or cut salaries in addition to increasing prices. There are plenty of non Fortune 100 companies that are barely getting by and able to fund investment to continue to be a viable business. Most of them would react the same way. The problem is in the unintended consequences (like large minimum wage hikes which usually end up being regressive)

And why are you against getting fellow citizens some decent basic healthcare, unless the system conforms to your made up parameters? Link? Don't bother. He has none. Not an iota of knowledge on the subject. Pretty obvious the guy has never been a business owner, and hasn't a clue how the economy functions. If I had the knowledge that a $15 minimum wage was coming, there's no chance I would have taken the gamble to start my business. It would have tipped the scale of risk enough for me and many others looking to break in to not do it. That's no way to grow an economy. If that had come about during my first year of business, we would have incurred severe losses (market not amenable to raise the price of our product) and we would have closed shop instead of continuing on. Not only would my employees all be out of work, but my life savings would have been vanquished. Study after study proves how damaging the wage increase is. None if it matters to the ignorant masses who never employed a person ever, simply because it sounds nice. These idiots seem to think small businesses rack up huge profits, when in reality many of them are barely getting by or are losing money.
