I agree with the irony part but knowing what little we ACTUALLY know about Belli--I think it is more likely than not that no one has ANY idea whether he was targeting Hack or not. And knowing what we know of his scumbag persona, it's more likely than not that if anything he was just sending up a smokescreen. _ OH no, you can't use those words in regards to the patriots. Now we're probably going to be in court for a year again . More likely than not. To a chowd it means "day gawt nutin!" To everyone else it means "You're guilty as sin you fucking pieces of shit". _

Unless you're the man himself, there's some irony here . I am not telling anyone to like this kid. I like him and I happen to think he will be what I have been waiting for . I thought it was going to be chad Pennington, but he couldn't stay healthy . Right now, I would like to fix the OL and add another RB . My pick for the RB is Wayne Gallman . Btw, I'm with you on Chad. I thought he was going to become the best QB in franchise history, surpassing my all time favorite Namath. I saw SBs and sugar plums and rainbows leading to pots of gold. Fuck. _ I LOVED everything about pre injury Chad. From the East Tennessee Dead Leg move on Eddie Robinson to the 41-0 playoff blowout of the Colts. That guy was the real deal. Still the only QB who has bested Brady for a division crown.... and he did it with 2 different teams.

Pre-injury Pennington was hands down the closest thing to Montana since Montana IMO. I remember back in '02 during a Monday Night game, Madden brought up a graphic of Montana/Pennington side by side to show the similarities. The drop back, footwork, release...so goddamn similar it was uncanny. I remember Bill Romanowski making the same comments before we played Oakland in the playoffs that year. THAT was the closest we've come to securing a franchise QB since Namath. Not fuckheads like O'Brien and Sanchez. Just a total shame what injuries did to the guy.

Speaking of Pennington, Jet fans love to bash Herman Edwards, but that guy got us to the playoffs every year chad was healthy and had the Steelers beat with a one handed Chad in Pittsburg . We never gave him a competent backup QB once Testaverde left and his offensive line kept getting worst and worst as the years went on until some joker almost got Esiason killed by Bruce Smith .
Maybe just maybe these guys will turn this thing around .

I always thought Pennington was overrated by Jets fans throughout his career. He always wilted in the playoffs when the games mattered the most.

When his biggest weapon Coles went out in the first quarter. Gtfo. The dude was a great QB but for the injuries. _

Shouldn't the injuries count? He was never money in the playoffs and even as bad as Sanchez was, he was a better playoff QB.
"He's like an egg back there" Kevin Mawae

How could I forget that . I guess I got so caught up with how the Jet have mismanaged protecting their QBs over the years . Thanks for pointing that out .
We really need to learn how to build a team. No QB and poor OL men equals years of terrible offensive football .

Suck Dickskey For Trubisky? 2:00 pm today in the Sun Bowl. _ I think he's already cemented himself as the top QB in this class. And there's no way I can see the Browns, Bears and 49ers all passing on him. And he's not the kind of prospect that I would sell the farm to obtain.
