Cro will reportedly make $7mil in 2015 - leaves us with about $3.9mil to work with before cuts... Just signed Brewer too. Shouldn't be too big of a cap hit.

Not sure what Macag's plan is for this since it wasn't addressed in FA and we're not set up to pick an OT

It's hard to fill EVERY need with long term solutions in one off season. Right now the O line isn't in desperate shape. Sure, you always like to have more depth but, it's not like you can't compete with the guys who are currently here.

Corey Hilliard RT from DET (who the Jets have brought in or are bringing in?) and Tyler Polumbus RT from WAS (who I really like) We could still re-sign Ben Ijalana LT (he's 25 and depth material)

I'm not nearly as worried about the OL as I was heading into FA, I'll say that. We seemingly filled the LG spot with Carpenter and have a shit ton of guys, most of which have starting experience, fighting for the last two spots on the right side (Aboushi, Johnson, Freeman, Winters, Colon, Dozier, Breno, Qvale, Brewer). It helps that the right side of the line is notoriously easier to play then the left side. Fairly confident that two of those guys can at least capably win their spots and hold down the fort.

I do feel a little better now. But it is still a unit "of concern" turnonthejets.com/2015/03/turn-on-the-jets-12-pack-jets-post-free-agency-strategy/

Remember that Aboushi came out as an OT but was moved to OG last year. With all of the guards now on the roster, I'm hoping they can move him back to OT and leave him there (assuming they feel he's capable).

still upset we haven't signed Mo long term. with the remaining cap we have left, don't think it'll be done until next year now.
believe me if you want, but my father works with Mo's uncle at PSE&G here in NJ. they were talking the other day and Mo's uncle mentioned that Mo was getting pretty pissed off at the Jets for not having this extension done. i know Mo's been the consummate professional about it, but i can understand the frustration. we can only hope this doesn't spill out into the locker room. think he should have been priority one.
