Jets will have to move up rumor has it Denver is looking to leap frog the Jets. If Mac thinks that this guy is the real deal then he has got to go for it. This team has got to fix the QB spot The Jets had a team last year that had a very talented team but fell short of making the playoffs because Fitz couldn't deliver when the Jets needed it in Buffalo had the Jets had a decent QB the Jets win that game and they make the playoffs. This team QB situation has been digusting since Namath left Richard Todd pick six in the mud Bowl, Ken Obrien, Bowning Nagel , Geno, and Sanchez. Until the Jets fix this we are not winning a damm thing during the Rex championship games we had a stacked team but no QB same last year a stack team but no QB. The stack team made Fitz look better then he really was. If Mac believes Lynch is the guy then he has to go all out.

The price was to steep the QBS in this draft are like last years. I still think the Jets want a QB the best one is still available at 20 his name is Connor Cook they have hype Wentz through the roof who came out of a small school with no real competition. Cook came out of a big school with real competition in a pro style offense if the Jets need a QB that's the guy to take. I don't think the Jets will take him he will be A Bronco just have that feeling but I stand by my analysis I still believe Connor Cook is the best QB in this draft who has been blacked out by all the hype over Wentz.

I'm OK with them signing Hoyer. Fitz is not signing for less than 10 to 12 million a year Hoyer will cost 3 to 4 million a year. Which is not killing the cap with the holes and the cap situation the Jets don't have the money to sign Fitz and he isnt worth that kind of Money. sign Hoyer and draft a QB. I rather see Hoyer than the Jets getting trapped into a bloated contract on a QB who has a history of after getting a big pay day showing his inconsistentacy. I like to give Geno one last chance before he walks off into the sunset. Last year was the Jets year and Fitz pissed it in Buffalo. The nerve of him after his crap performance in Buffalo and no playoffs to demand Franchise QB money was enough for me.

Depends on how demand for QBS goes I think if Paxton Lynch falls within striking distance Jets could move up. If not the Jets will wait and trade up in the second round and grab Connor Cook or stay pat and take HackenBerg in the second or third don't think they will reach for a QB from what I'm reading they like Lynch, Goff, Wentz and HackenBerg. Don't know if they like Cook personally if they don't take Cook in the first I think Denver will take him with their first. One thing is for certain they will take a QB after Fitz dispute and having only Petty as the only future and Geno being in his last year QB now is the #1 need. They tried to already move up and could make another attempt if the opportunity presents itself.

screw it sign him for cheap and draft a QB. Fitz will wreck havoc on the Jets salary cap and is becoming a distraction. The Jets are going to have to pay more than 7 million to gets Fitz to the table The Jets need that money to shore up its younger players(Sheldon Richardson) and fill holes so the Jets are competitive. Fitz is nothing more than a journeyman QB a hold the fort guy for 2 years. Can get the same results with Hoyer and he will be 2 million to 3 million against the cap. Draft a QB in the second round or trade up or back depending on whats to the Jets liking.

At least the Jets tried to fix the QB situation here I said this before the Jets fell a QB short of making the playoffs last year. They saw the same thing I saw Fitz throwing 3 picks a pissing the season down the drain.

Stay pat and take Connor Cook easily the best most NFL ready QB in this draft and won't have to trade anything. GOFF and Wentz are big Question marks like Paxton Lynch but after seeing the frenzy Lynch will be gone too. Connor Cook has played in a pro style offense with real competition. Wentz hasn't the Jets can get a really good QB without draining draft picks.

Its a good move the Jets would have been forced to reach for a LT at 20 now they don't have to reach for a LT they can get a decent one in the middle rounds and let him sit and learn for a year.

Not going to have to move #1 Wentz isn't a sure thing I personally like Paxton Lynch the guy reminds me of Ben Rosenberger or Connor Cook who is highly underrated. Connor Cook has the benefit of starting sooner because of him working in a pro style offense. I'd the Jets have to move up believe they could move up with Wilkerson and their #20 as ammo. The fact that no team is clamoring to take a QB in this draft says volumes. Like Wentz but he hasn't played any real competition just like Lynch hasn't. Connor Cook to me is the surest prospect in this draft because he has played some decent schools.

Glad Mac was smart enough not to do that deal no way is RG3 worth that money. Show teams know Fitz isn't worth more than 7 million a year. Jets need to stick to it maybe even force Fitz to take less money.

Their other option is Geno. AND FITZPATRICK KNOWS IT!!!!!! Tell you the truth with the schedule the way it is this year the real Fitz will show up. start Genoa and save the money use it to get Wilkerson a long term deal. And draft a QB with potential and shore up the OL Fitz is not worth 16 million and why destroy this teams roster to pay for a back up QB. Last year was a mirage and the Buffalo game showed that. It seem every other team thinks that way nobody wants him Cleveland just signed RG3 rather than give Fitz his 16 million Denver traded for Mark Sanchez. In fact if I'm the Jets I cut his pay in half to 3.5 million when he begs for his job back.

This is the first non "sign Fitz for whatever he wants" propaganda article I've seen. Kudos.... Damm straight don't want him back. If the Jets had a competent QB they win in Buffalo. I want this team to do something than overpay for weak arm below average QBS time actually put some effort into finding a QB instead of being a settler.
