Only way the Jets lose out is if they try to win. Once the Front Office decides the Jets would be better served by losing, they will win. now there's some out of the box thinking.

really? pats 2 times, dolphins will beat them again, bills will whoop the jets this time around, they probably won't be able to stop Luck and Hilton/Moncreif and i'd be seriously worried about going to SF and playing them there. not saying this team goes 3-13, but i don't know how a 3-7 team can think they have 2 more potential wins. Did you think they'd beat the Ravens, who are currently a playoff team? It's obtuse to think they can't beat the Dolphins, Colts, Bills or Niners. Does that mean they will? No. Does it mean they can? Of course. They had the Dolphins beat on the road, and already beat the Bills on the road, but are suddenly incapable of beating them at home? That's just stupid woe is me crap. The Jets aren't good, they aren't so awful that they can't potentially beat marginal teams at Home. To completely give them zero shot in some of these game is ridiculously stupid. this jets team has yet to play to potential. they know it. everyone knows it. for them to suck simply to lose out just isn't going to happen. the question is what do they get? some high draft picks? if either petty or hackenberg don't work out then they will be in the same position next season. fitz again? oh boy, i doubt it. sometimes you jsut have to bite the bullet and pick something. right now petty has a game under his belt and his play seemed to be dictated more by the plays gaily called than by any particular flaw in his ability. so, they should put him in, take the record they get and use the draft to rebuild the oline and get more secondary. richardson? they can always franchise him but only if wilk continues to lay an egg. right now, imo, richardson is the keeper and wilk should be launched.

here's the thing, this team is going nowhere if the coaching job is a conveyor belt. they can't keep changing coaches. bowles as a coach is still very unknown. people forget that parcells went 4-12 or 3-13 his second season. he learned from that and one of the reasons the giants were bad that year was because they had qb issues. if the jets had a bona fide starting qb then matbe you can make the case that bowles outght to be launched. as for maccagnan, he started to bring in win now players and really did pretty well except at qb. fitz is fitz and will always be a tease. and there have been way more highly regarded and talented qb's who were similar teases. look at bledsoe, or grossman, or harrington, or george, or cassel, or even chaddy. all of those guys had way more physical talent (except for chaddy) than fitz and all pretty much failed. and yes bledsoe and grossman got their teams to sb's but they also failed to win and really never did much before or after.
there may be some validity to launching kacy rogers and chan gaily. kacy because the defense has underperformed and chan because he is not adapting his play calls to the players he has. but it's way too easy to blame the coaches. the jet offense has been having trouble ever since groh was coach. last year it looked like it was on track but this year has been a severe derailment.

it is truly pathetic the way this team can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

i'm still not on the anti bowles wagon but a loss like this is tough to take. where was the long ball? marshall caught one pass and had his man beat all day. anderson made a great catch that was mainly because anderson made the catch not that it was a great throw..

this was an extremely frusrtrating game to watch. petty started out okay but then fell into short pass slumber land. and who really cares about the pick? at that point the game was pretty much done. petty was none going to lead this team back. and this on top of a game where the defense held the other team to a friggin 9 points.
the thing is, the one thing petty can do better than fitz is throw the deep ball. so he misses that one pass to anderson and it disappears from the play book. froggin pathetic. and yeah we all get the point about the rams dline and them putting on pressure. but even there, there just wasn't enough pressure to stop a determined pass attack.

Revis: 8 mil dead - 7.33 mil saved Mangold: 0 dead - 9.07 mil saved Breno: 625k dead - 4.5 mil saved Harris: 0 dead - 6.5 mil saved Clady: 500k dead - 10 mil saved Marshall: 0 dead - 7.5 mil saved Richardson: 0 dead - 8.06 mil saved Gilchrist: 1.25 mil dead - 3.75 mil saved Jenkins: 750k dead - 3 mil saved Folk: 593k saved - 3 mil saved Henderson: 0 dead - 2.75 mil saved Funny all the beat writers would have u believe jets are in cap hell . Guess mac is smarter then they give him credit for he signed those guys To hold the fort until he turned the roster over and get guys he picked in there while trying to stay competitive with vets , could easily get to 60 mil in cap room but I think some of those guys stay like Marshall ,mangold and revis on restructured deals for whatever his cap hit is if he doesn't accept then he gets cut mangold new short deal for lower money and marshal still a good player and good guy to teach the youngsters yep. that was the whole thing about mccagnan's spending spree. it has a fairly short shelf life. he got the team back to respectability (well mostly even with the 3-6 record) and will have plenty of room to make some serious moves next season. assuming petty or even hackenberg pan out, the jets will be sitting pretty next season and beyond. and, i hate to say, but idzik started this along by clearing so much space. idzik's problem is he didn't know how to draft. but even here, maccagnan's drafts have yet to be fully assessed.

I'll say this for the Browns, at least these guys play hard with zero talent at any position really. They haven't thrown in the towel at all. they have some good players. even mcnown looked pretty good. it's not just having a qb. it's about being able to play tough for the whole 60 minutes.

jets 24 scrams 10
c'mon, it's a home game. wilk and richardson should have both been embarassed by having to sit out a quarter and should be ready to go. if they don't then bowles has lost the locker room. fitz/petty, makes no difference if the oline doesn't do its job.

i remember watching that game way back when. imagine that the new england fans basically drove plunkett out of town. hard to say if they could've paid him. and then upchuck deserted the team in 1975 during a playoff run. the patsies were pretty classy even back then.

The real question is who's gonna pardon trump when he gets convicted of fraud for fake trump u, a fake charity and tax evasion? that's just so much bs. first off both of those are in the civil courts. secondly he has more than enough people claiming his trump u was good and helped them. c'mon, a person who spends and then keeps spending for a scam is just not playing with a full deck. and just where is the tax evasion? he did nothing more than take advantage of the tax laws. everybody does it. when you or anyone else goes to h and r crock, you are taking advantage of the tax laws.

If she's done nothing wrong, why should she need a presidential pardon? I agree, but the idea of her receiving a pardon is being floated about. Why wouldnt he just put an end to it say no? you can't give someone a pardon simply for being. hillarity is guilty of sooooo many things it's hard to find out where to start. and she hasn't been charged yet. even the email hub bub hasn't reached an end yet. yeah we know comey dropped the investigation but he also wasn't shy in starting it back up again if there was something else. whether the libtards want it or not, we won't be healed as a nation until the foundation is thoroughly and objectively investigated. trump will need to appoint a special prosecutor and see where it goes.

the way to do term limits is by simply raisning the eligability age for being a congressman, senator or president. those ages were all set back at the nation's beginining when people lived to around 50. there was no need for a term limit because the elected people jusr died off. moreover, back in the 18th century it was neraly possible for a person to know everything about everything by age 25. now people don't know shit until they're about 35 and live to 80. so it makes perfect sense to increase the eligibility age 10 years across the board. the other thing this does is nearly ensure our representatives have some world experience before taking office.

How many years since we lost Faneca, Woody, Brick, Mangold next, this org. is totally fucked up. but they drafted ducasse. in all seriousness they didn't place enough emphasis on the oline.
