Good deal. I'm really excited about the prospects of Quinn if this comes true. Paired with Mueller or macagnan makes lots of sense.

@steiny31 4m4 minutes ago Jim Mora is heading to NY to interview for the #Jets head coaching job, per @bruinreport. Now that would be interesting. I could get on board with that hire. What makes you think he'd be a good fit mrcoops? Just curious. Because his last stint was pretty bad.

What makes everyone think that Denver is just going to give away a QB that they are clearly developing behind Forehead? Because forehead is stubborn he will play for atleast 3-4 more years And oswiler only has 1-2 years left on contract. they will have to draft another qb for Payton replacement unless they want to pay big money for a back up. I say send a 2 that's where he was pick when he was dra fted any way. A 2?? For a QB that is unproven? Your nuts lol and I mean that in a totally funny way lol.

Riiight...but they also beat the Dolphins, the Lions, and two possible super bowl teams in the Fagtriots and Packers. Guess that slipped your mind huh? The Jets also beat the Dolphins, and the Fagtriots played backups in the last game. you forgot that? Not really...the Dolphins were much better in week 2 then week 17 where they simply gave up...but you can stick with your opinion on Maronne it's all good...I'll just take it from the established players (Mawae, Woody) , respected football people and non Manish writers who have nothing but good things to say about him.

Can't imagine they think this paints him in a good light. Well that depends on what story you choose to believe. Was there a severe discord between Marrone and the front office, or was he power hungry animal who feels that it's his way or the highway? Most reports outside outside of Manish suggest that the former is true and that the front office absolutely failed him. Hell, even Seth Walder, Manish's colleague wrote an article that is pretty pro Marrone. See I have a theory on how Manish operates. He thrives off of negativity. He gets his clicks by bashing every little thing this organization does. Everyone knew that Rex AND Idzik had to go and yet the little shit, up until the last hours of Rex, was saying that Woody should be smart and keep Ryan...that letting him go would be a mistake. Then the firings came, everyone was happy to move on and he had nothing negative to write about. Thennnnn comes Marrone opting out and making himself the hottest head coaching candidate on the market. The Jets quickly become the favorites to land him and Manish begins criticizing the move so that he can say "I told you so" should it not work out. It's 110% posturing on his part. I mean shit, he even wrote an article stating that the consulting process just turned "toxic and poisonous as Marrone opts out of Buffalo contract and". He doesn't suggest any alternatives, he doesnt concede to the idea that most of the GM candidates may actually PREFER Marrone over everyone else. He just keeps spewing this "inside source" bullshit he's been peddling since 2012. We could have hired Jim Harbaugh and the same article he just wrote about Marrone would have been written. If we hired Quinn, he would have blasted the team for hiring another defensive guy. The same would go for Bowles but he'd probably mention how Carolina went in and shredded his defense too. He's a fucking weasel who will do anything to generate clicks. I'm going to choose to believe guys like Mawae, Curtis Martin, and the respected guys blasting Mehtas credentials and integrity left and right over that shit stain on society. If guys like Ron Wolf and Charley Casserly feel that Marrone is the best candidate available and after interviewing all the candidates decide that hiring him is the best course of action, then who am I do disagree with that notion? Well written sir and totally true. But I think his inside source thing has been around longer than that. It's pathetic how bad this guy has become and why he even still has a job.

Rebuilding the O-line should not take that long...guys like Bulaga, Franklin, Iupati, Jerry, Fox, Carpenter, Shipley...signing 2 of these guys and maybe drafting one would completely forify our line. Recipe for success. I could go along with that. Let's see if someone can actually make it happen. This year's patchwork job on the line outside of Brick and Mangold was sketchy. Yup and on top of that they are getting a little long on the tooth.

Looks a little like that Napoleon Dynamite guy...what's his name? If we got him on the cheap, I would take a flyer on him. I wouldn't mind keeping someone with his size and skill around to keep the thing going while we rebuild the o-line, secondary and linebacker positions. That's going to take a few years, so... we can keep looking through the draft, free agency or trade to get our QB. Who knows, maybe he'll turn out to be something more than just serviceable. We don't have many other options at this stage. The Jets beat the Dolphins and beating the Rats in week 17 when they have nothing to play for, no big deal. Good wins against Det and GB though. Were missed FGs a big part of the Det win? They had problems all year, but especially early. Probably but a win is a win and a good coach makes sure that his players execute. Caldwell is not a good coach. That being said Marrone is not my #1 choice but if he was hired I would be fine with it.

I wish they would hire someone already. And I could care less who the new GM wants as a coach. What I care about is how he intends on finding the Jets a QB. The final 8 QBs standing in the NFL are: Rodgers Forehead SparklePony Luck Flacco Wilson Romo Newton Who the fuck cares who coaches these guys. They can win big games with a "competent" coach. They don't need a boy genius. BTW, these QB's have won 7 SB's, soon to be 8. If its anyone competent it would have to be by trade.

The only reason they won 9 games is because two of those were vs. the Jets. No need to apologize for winning games, but Buffalos 9-7 record (first in ten years! Yay!) hardly makes Marrone out to be some sort of super Jesus. when did 9-7 and missing the playoffs become an accomplishment? Riiight...but they also beat the Dolphins, the Lions, and two possible super bowl teams in the Patriots and Packers. Guess that slipped your mind huh?

ManASS Mehta put out a piece today on how Maronne is thin skinned and power hungry. As usual he sites "inside sources" for saying this. Yet former players and execs have nothing but good things to say about him. ManASS knows that if Maronne gets hired that his hack ass won't have easy access like he did with a Rex. I just can't see how the daily news allows this hack to come up with articles. What a joke! wouldnt mind putting him and lupica on aan island and blow the fucking thing up. The world would be a much better place. At least Mehta pointed out at the end of the article that the sources in Buffalo could have alterier (no idea how to spell that) motives. It's like getting bad mouthed by the girl you just dumped. What else would you expect. True but he also should explain why potentially Maronne left like the fact that there are a lot of instability and question marks with ownership and high management.
