Mo is a good player. But he is totally replaceable And not worth a 100 million $ contract. If leonard williams is there at 6 we can take him and trade wilk to the Browns for the number 12 pick and take a player like gurley or a WR like parker. To me it would be a no brainer.

But he was basically suspended for all of last year. Why another 10 games? 25 game suspension seems a little stiff to me.

4? I never would have guessed 4. Only die hard Cowgirl fans would have thought 4 Just curious because i dont know a lot about the whole Hardy incident, but after going all last season on the commissioners exempt list, and then charges were eventually dismissed, why should he get suspended at all. didnt he pay enough sitting out all of last year.

If we stay put at 6 I'd prefer cooper or white if either are available. But I would not be upset at all if we take gurley. As long as we don't draft a defensive player at 6 I'll be happy. Not really sold on any of these top DE / OLBs that are projected to us. I'd rather take the sure thing in gurley and go Wr or oline in the 2nd.

i for 1 like the move. he is a quality depth signing with potential. i think he will be a good number 2 behind ivory. powell is just a mediocre rb. Also this move doesnt stop us from drafting a guy in the 2nd or 3rd round if we choose to. This move gives Mac daddy the ability to go BPA in every round.

Overreact much? The guy skips 1 voluntary workout and everyone wants to trade him.
Just pay the dude, he has earned it. We just paid Cromartie and harris. They both got 8 million a year and they're on the wrong side of 30.
Keep in mind the last time we traded away our best player, we replaced him with dee milliner. And we all know how well that worked out. There is still plenty of time to lock up wilkerson. No need to overreact and trade him for no reason.

I can't disagree that cooper is a way better route runner than white. But i think your selling kevin white short saying hes just a jump ball artist.
Kevin White definitly has some things to clean up in his game, like his route running, and getting off the line quicker, But that can be taught. You can't teach 6'3 4.35. I just personally feel like white has way more upside than cooper.
I think We both know what we would be getting with cooper. An extremely reliable wr Who has good hands and runs great routes. Cooper to me is the safer pick. that doesn't mean he will be a better player though.
Kevin white was really wvu's only weapon. Don't forget that he was leading the nation in yards before clint trinkett got injured. and that was while being double and triple covered all game. To me he looked like a man playing with boys at the college level.
at the end of the day I would not be upset with either WR. To me there 1 a and 1b. I'm curious to hear who your top 5 wrs in the draft are as you say kevin white is your 5th rated wr.

Im a little worried about White being a one year wonder and these comments today come off pretty bad to me... West Virginia WR Kevin White said he should be chosen over Alabama's Amari Cooper because "I think I bring a lot more to the table." "Amari Cooper is a great receiver, a great competitor, but I think I bring a lot more to the table," White said. "He's at Alabama with Nick Saban. They have a whole bunch of other tools that help him out where he's not getting double-covered. A lot of attention is not just strictly on Amari Cooper. ... On West Virginia, it's just, 'OK, let's shut Kevin White down.' They have a lot of attention toward me." The comments likely won't be well received in Morgantown and they certainly won't be received well by WVU coach Dana Holgorsen, but you can't easily argue when he cites his time at JUCO in saying "I haven't learned or been taught the little secrets" about being a wide receiver. Of course, Cooper could just as easily say that the Mountaineers threw on 48.7 percent of their plays against 44.3 percent passes for the Tide. White also only had one good collegiate season, which is why Football Outsiders' Playmaker Score ranked him as the No. 8 receiver. I watched a lot of WVU games. The kid can ball. Not worried about the 1 year. All season he would get double or triple covered and he would just jump up and snag the ball at its highest point. he is lightning fast, good hands, tall and strong. I think he's the best receiver in the draft and I don't think it's that close. To me it all comes down to what type of wideout you want. Would you prefer the julio jones aj green DeMarius Thomas type wr or do you want the Anquan boldin, Reggie wayne type wr.

At number 6 my top choices would be kevin white, Amari cooper, mariotta, and Gurley, in that order. to me white and cooper will both be great but white has the higher upside. White reminds me of julio jones and cooper reminds me more of an Anquan boldin. I think mariotta will be gone by the second pick so I don't think he's an option. Not really sold on him being a great qb either but if he's there you gotta take a chance. if you take mariotta i feel like you would be banking on his brains not his arm. I Would not be upset with taking Gurley at 6. I know we could trade back a few spots and probably still get him but why risk loosing the best rb prospect in the past few years. He can run right by you or straight through you. And I'm pretty sure if you can get a rb like adrian peterson at 6 no one would be upset.

If mariotta is there at 6 you have to take him. If he is gone I go best Wr, either white or cooper. If they don't go qb or wr with 6 I would take an OlB

He's essentially Eric Decker dipped in chocolate Seems redundant to me I'd rather just keep Harvin and take Cooper or Parker at the top of the draft. Funny, but I'd say there's some fundamental differences between Decker and Crabby, particularly on how you use them situationally. Ultimately Decker is a better stretch play receiver, and crabtree for those digs and slants. But anyway... if you gotta only keep one, then i'd say the WR drafted ought to be someone who can play more than one position. Parker, Cooper I suppose too. Not sold on Kevin White's versatility yet. Have to watch him some more. what makes you not sold on kevin white. Because personally I think he will be a better pro than cooper. Kid had no qb constantly got bracketed and still put up 1400 yards. Also he is 6 3, fast and catches the ball at its highest point. Flat out i think the kid can ball. Reminds me exactly of julio jones.

WR- Cut Harvin - Sign Randall Cobb since packers will most likely let him test free agency (No chance on Dez or Demaryius will be available) - 1st Rd draft pick - Amari Cooper will likely be gone by our pick but it doesn't matter because Kevin White from West Virginia and Devante Parker from Louisville are both 6'3 and are both absolute studs in the mold of a Julio Jones. I personally would prefer Kevin White but would be ecstatic with either. RB - Cut Chris Johnson, let Powell walk - 2nd round pick Ameer Abdullah RB from Nebraska
OL - try to sign a guard like Iupati to replace colon. if he is to expensive i would spend my 3rd rounder on a guard like Josue Matias or Tre' Jackson, both play for Florida State. Either one would be a steal in the 3rd round, and one of them will likely be available.
QB - Sign a veteran like Jake Locker or Matt Moore on the cheap. - i would also take a shot on a player like Garrett Grayson from colorado state in the 4th round, or Brandon Bridge in the 5th and I would let them duke it out with Geno for this season.
what do you guys think?
